i need a bit of help here. i have a video file im trying to send to a friend via email that is 1.8 GB large. i can compress it down to 323MB as a MP4, but the problem is outlook only lets you send files as large as 34 MB.
i know dropbox/one drive and other cloude memes exist, but lets pretend for a mement that the year is 2005-2006. how do i compress the video down to 34MB in winrar and send it via outlook/email? or is there any other email services that allow for larger file sizes to be sent?
>>56264405
Open a ftp server for a while, nigger.
>>56264405
If it's 2006, at some point, you won't be able to compress anymore. You must reencode the video.
why the fuck you make a new thread for this retarded shit? post in the fucking stupid questions thread

If you would like to try out GNU/Linux you can do one of the following:
0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine using VirtualBox or other software made for this puporse for safety purposes.
1) Use the Live ISO (if your distribution of choice has one) to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything, that way, you can get to experience the GNU/Linux operating system without installing it.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or macOS, this is recommended if you want to know more about the GNU/Linux operating system.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

How are the Fedora spins? I'm looking to try a bunch of different DEs in VM to see which one I prefer, and Fedora's website has a bunch of variants here:
https://spins.fedoraproject.org/en/
I'm pretty certain I don't want to use KDE, but I'm curious about LXDE, MATE, and xfce on Fedora. I tried xfce on Debian and I'm pretty sure I don't want to use Debian full time, but I've seen some very nice xfce desktop configurations so I wouldn't be opposed using that as my DE.
Post something edgy.
that arch setup is new to me.

Should I install kali linux on virtual box or dual boot and why?
Why Kali? well i'm learning about penetration testing
>>56264174
>Should I install kali linux on virtual box or dual boot and why?
kali should be ran stateless or otherwise it's pointless
>Why Kali? well i'm learning about penetration testing
you don't need kali for that
>>56264174
Virtual box, create your own pentesting enviroment. Kali is the best for learning, it comes with all the tools prepackaged
>>56264198
You do if your too lazy (see: stupid) to install arch linux and download the packages yourself.
What type of laptop should i get?
My range is $500-$1250.
I want to be able to play games and have a decent speaker with decent storage.
>>56264165
Check the Asus ROG line. They are awesome, I had one but I bought new desktop with GTX 1080 etc. I would say if your max is 1250$, try to find a discount but optimally speaking add more money to that and you'll get those new Pascal laptops.
If you DON'T want Pascal (what are you stupid) get at least 970m. That's my advice.
Also ensure you are using SSD all the way + 16 gigs minimum memory.

This one is safe to get.
Laptops can't play "games" unless you just mean League of Legends and Diablo 3, because they have low system requirements. But if you want to play brand new AAA titles you're shit out of luck.

There are alternatives. But you won't use them because your normie friends don't use them.

Are you sure about PSC?
Why not use for example localbitcoins and buy BTC using your PSC?
I'm using NordVPN, it is based in Panama. Satisfied so far. No logging.

Windows is now open source.
What changes do you make to your Windows based distro?
install gentoo
Nothing. Windows is without flaw.
>>56264077
This
Or a less autistic distro. Actually, probably definitely install a less autistic distro.
Gentoo is still preferable to Windows.

You can inflict bodily harm upon him from beyond the veil of anonymity.
Buy a Spiderman costume and then jump him and cut off his dick in a public space. Then assault or at least appear to try to assault another random person and run off. He would have no real reason to suspect you.

>>56263904
It's Canada.
Canada's telecom regulator CRTC doesn't have rules like "customers should be allowed to bring their own modem" like FCC does in the U.S.
You're stuck with whatever modem-router all-in-one your cable company installs in your home.
