Hey /g/,
Do you guys know how to install GNU/Linux on this ?
It seems you can't boot it with a usb drive.
>Dell CPT PPX
>>57310876
With a CD? This isn't complicated.
>>57310876
i know this is from before your time and might sound a little crazy but you're going to have to burn a cd, and i don't mean physically setting fire to one either.
>>57310876
Use a CD, doofus
How fuck do you organize your images?
After 10 years of saving crap from this site I need almost 5m to load thumbs every time I want to post anything
>>57310805
Just delete all of it. None of it matters
>>57310805
I don't have a *chan folder
but I have saved a lot of other media in the last decade
I suggest you start over, and stay organized with folders from the start

What's another easy to use distro but without being a massive botnet?
If they want in, they will get in. As soon as war breaks out every computer on earth will be "activated" for the largest cyber attack ever witnessed. We've already seen trial runs of this just recently.

Is it still worth getting a Classic or a Passport knowing the OS is dying?
>>57310595
I'm seriously debating getting one as my next phone. I don't do much more than do calls and send texts with my phone anyway. And I love the classy business look it has.

Why are modern drivers so bloated?
everything else is bloated too these days, so why not drivers as well
Drivers have become too lazy, they won't walk when they can drive instead.

- task manager crashes with error
- software update says it's finished but it's not
What os should I install ? The HDD has only 4gb. Don't tell me windows xp it's too boring and I need to find the drivers.
Install 2004 era debian (woody) or ubuntu (hardy).

I am using Clover and I have unspoiled images as settings but pics still appear spoiled
What do i do?
You deal with it because you are a phonefag, which means you are lower class, which means you are not entitled to anything more than lower class experience and service.
It's that simple.
>>57310117
>>57310172
Using memes when you are the one with a problem ain't gonna undo it lower class fag.

what is the most secure OS/distro to date?
by secure I mean secure from hackers, not online privacy from being tracked by NSA/govt..
I'm writing a book, and while the most safe would simply be to use a computer with its Internet-driver/device (or whatever it is called, semantics) removed or something else like a type-writer, I'd still like the ability to have Internet on it.
I possess very limited knowledge on newer malware and hacker-shit, but given how easy it is to just send someone a malicious-containing packet to another's PC w/o phishing them into downloading a Trojan, I do not think MBAM + good firewall will be sufficient. So-called 'antikey-loggers' seem useless too.

bamp for security
>>57309859
Tails OS is probably the most secure OS up to date.

tails isn't exactly security focused, it's meant for leaving no trace behind, not securing you against threats. not saying that it's insecure, but it's also not the point of the distro. you'd have been better off naming Qubes, Subgraph, or Whonix.
