Do you guys think this computer could play Sid Meiers Civilization 6 flawlessly on the highest quality graphic settings, or any steam game for that matter?
And if this one can't, is there any laptop that can for under $450?

I know it's a longshot to ask a board on 4chan directly, but what's the best bang for the buck TV for watching movies and anime with my PC? The entire market appears to be revolving about smart functions and how well the amazon and netflix implementation is done and whether it has fucking bluetooth, for fuck's sake. I'm done digging through the marketing bullshit. And no I don't want a fucking housefire phone with my Samsung TV, what is this? McDonalds?

I have a sony 40" KDL40R533C (i think its 510 in us / uk market) that I paid about 240 bucks for in Norway (thats very cheap relatively speaking). Works fine, has 2-3 HDMI in and a USB for hard drive. Playing ps4 and cromecasting and it has built in netflix although i dont use it cuz i already have ps4.

get the one with the best contrast ratio

External Hard Drives
I have never really had a look into them as i stored my stuff on several interal hard drives. Maybe it is better to have a backup at some other place just in case.
enlighten me with your insights. it seems that a lot of ext. hdd have some kind of backup software on them which does not seem very appealing.
are there any brands to avoid?

I want a small sized phone and the z3 compact seems like the best option. The z5 doesn't seem worth it plus the battery life is worse and I have heard lots of complains about overheating. The new X Compact looks too thick.
The hardware is still good. I don't care about the latest shit, this is just good enough and I hate big phones. I also don't want to be seen supporting chinese trash.

Don't risk it. They take used phones that were damaged, or didn't pass QA, repackage them with a new, knockoff screen and case. They're poorly soldered with low end component interconnects. They tend to work well enough for a few months until the cheap components degrade into non-functioning trash, at which point you're far past eBay's buyer protection window.
I have had this exact experience. I got my money back, but only after threatening legal action; which I don't have the time or money to actually act on, but neither do they so they tend not to risk it.

Last night I wanted to get fucked up enough to not feel feelings anymore- as a result I threw up a mixture of various alcohols and mixers on my surroundings and somehow, my phone. Some of it dried when I blacked out, but when I looked this morning there was still some liquid in the case
There's some "water" damage (indicator next to sim slot is red). The battery drained or it turned off at one point of the night. I was able to charge it (albeit very slowly) in the morning- but the battery drains within minutes. When turned on some app icons & widgets were missing from the home screen. It was able to receive texts- go on FB, go through my gallery etc. I have since removed the SIM, cleaned the phone with Isopropyl Alcohol and blow dried it. Now its in a bag of rice. There's some "water" damage (indicator next to sim slot is red).
I need help senpai. Is there anything else I can do ? Is the phone fucked?
