This. I dont see whats wrong with it. It sends and receives emais. What else is there to it?
Who /edgy/ here? The recent update made it even faster and uBlock Origin works perfectly.
Chrome/Firefox are bloated as fuck compared to this.
lel edge can't even play webm files
Chrome is the superior bot net with more file support, better extensions, and customization.
Why even bother with edge?
literally who: the browser
>tfw upgrade from novideo gtx 780 ti to nvidiot gtx 1080 is underwhelming
>fell for the upgrading meme
Should have gone with AyyMD instead of novideo.
>tfw fell for AMemeD for the first time
>fan control and driver issues are major and id rather pay more to get nvidia without them next time
My grandma (79) needs a new smartphone. Her current is a Motorola Milestone with BIG launcher, Whatsapp, Gmail, and Öffi.
She always had CM6 on there with Android 2.2 and it worked fine for years, but fucking Whatsapp is dropping support for <2.3. I installed CM7 with 2.3 on it and it's buggy as hell. The worst part is my grandma thinking she did something wrong and it's her fault when the phone suddenly locks up and eventually reboots...
I think she really needs that physical keyboard, typing with her fingernails. She will try out a stylus on a 5x tomorrow.
Is the Priv a good phone? What does /g/ think?
and BIG Dialer of course
>>57837948
she needs to wait 2bh
Just get her an iPhone like all the other old people.
How do we stop Microsoft whenever they spread FUD against GNU/Linux? They seem to have a legion of fags paid to shill EVERYWHERE.
Just look at /g/ today.
Nobody is paid to spread FUD about an operating system 1/500 people use you dumb, delusional persecution complex autist.
>>57837937
No shit
>>57837987
They did it once and were caught, your argument is invalid.

I'm a huge moron. I can't believe I fell for this meme.
I just spend 3 DAYS INSTALLING SHIT. VirtualBox would crash again and again installers would not work, I had to put up with 10 MB/S READ SPEEDS FOR FUCK'S SAKE IT"S A GOD DAMN SSD
Virtualization is a meme. You might run your stupid server on a Xen hypervisor 10 times slower than normal, but that's it. Don't try to set up your desktop environment in a VM.
If you want to use windows and pirated software, you have to risk it. There's no way around it.
I'm not going to spend the rest of my life debugging VirtualBox and buying more RAM to make AutoCAD and Office work.
>>57837841
Please stop being retarded.
Drop the windows meme. Linux with KVM for maximum comfy.
>>57837841
>If you want to use windows
found your problem
This is the battery life of the new MacBook Pro that's literally not doing anything.
Open safari and it immediately goes to 4 hours, start doing actual work... 3 hours
Why did I buy this machine?
Also: http://www.macrumors.com/2016/12/03/macbook-pro-battery-life-concerns/
>>57837805
Now you only need a smartphone without a headphone jack and you're all set
>Why did I buy this machine?
Because you're a cretin early adopter paying beta tester. Never buy 1st gen shit. Even the original rMBPs had issues.
>>57837805
>Meanwhile my 3 year old $400 HP laptop gives me 6 hours battery life on average. 9 hours on idle

Are there any VPS providers which don't require a real name/address info?
You can fake your shit on OVH
>>57837788
DigitalOcean last time I checked anyway.
If you pay with PayPal it's only the email, with credit card your name.
But no address.
>>57837788
OVH sometimes want to see your ID/passport

Give me a good reason why I should still use Firecuck
>>57837048
you have pink hair and you hate white males
>>57837048
>Firecuck
This one is free. Enjoy it.
I was an avid Firefox user for over a decade, recently switched to Chrome; found pages load faster, RAM use is down, videos buffer faster. Gotta hand it to the botnet.
Mozilla focuses too much on adding gimmicky new features and bloat instead of refining Firefox itself, and when you bring issues up to the devs, half the time they tell you to "deal with it." Chrome has similar issues but at least Google has gotten the main functions of Chrome (i.e; actual web browsing) down before adding the bullshit.
And if the botnet worries you, install Chromium. I really can't recommend Firefox to anyone anymore.
Video game creation general.
For the last 6 months I have spent occational nights + weekends working on VR (google cardboard) games. Mine are all terrible, but whatever, its fun. Hoping that if I keep grinding for a long time I can eventually get a hit and make a bunch of money.
I do unity + C#, its super fucking easy. The hard part with VR is designing the interaction. With so few buttons and no way to select stuff "outside" the environment, simple things become really challenging. For example: how do you have a "back to menu" button inside an immersive world?
>>57836725
Use left turn, right turn to make it back/forward
Make it a sliding menu system so its intuitive
Rolling your head, Rapid down+up+centering your head, noding yes/no. Voice ques, a bluetooth gamepad where every button is back
>>57836776
I think you are confused.
You are in a VR world, lets say playing a shooter. How do you exit the game?
I've tried googling this for an hour, and I can't get an answer.
So when you open Task Manager and go to the "Networks" tab, it has a list of your Adapters and gives you their "Network Utilization", "Link Speed" and "State".
My "Network Utilization" never goes above 3%. My "Link Speed" is 100mbps. Why is this? Does it mean that I'm bottlenecking somewhere and there's nothing I can do about it? Does it mean that I have some restrictive setting? Does it mean that the (((ISP))) is cucking me? Wtf??
Why would I ever want my Network Utilization to not be 100%?
Tl;dr wtf is network Utilization and how do I increase it? Also what distribution of Linux makes it so that I can dictate with complete authority what MY (not Microsoft's or Bittorents or Skypes or every other Jewish process that starts running when I start my comp) fucking computer does.
>>57836720
you're fucking stupid.
install gentoo
fucking shitposter
>>57836720
needs work, but solid 6/10
what compact phone do I buy now that there is not going to be a Z6 compact and the X compact is garbage?

plus I started the PC by a linuxbased tool i already had (UBCD) trying to clean up from them.
I was asking to find some tools or system to get the data back
I have already tried with ESETTeslaCryptDecryptor and TALOS TeslaCrypt Decryption Tool by cisco
