Why didn't bluray discs make their way into general computing as data discs like dvds are, despite being near the end of their lifetime?
Hype over cloud technologies.
doesnt sony gets a dollar of each recordable bluray disk sold, so each one is at least a dollar in price?
doesnt sony get a large cut (dont recall exact number/percentage) of each recording unit?
so yeah, price
>>58394052
But recordable disks are under $1 each

They still had to put in the work to rip it off though. More than can be said for Ubuntu. They ripped off OSX and it looks like complete shit.
I switch the computer on, doesn't switch on until an hour later. Works fine.
Why does my computer seem to start up whenever it wants after I switch it on?
>>58393600
It has become sentient and is trolling you. Good job anon you've started the apocalypse.
>>58393600
>I switch the computer on, doesn't switch on until an hour later.

I mean it works fine after it switches on but there's a random as fuck delay between pressing the on button and it actually switching on
How comfortable are you knowing that the government is casually data mining every person in the country?
It kinda bugs me
Osama bin Laden won
It's a bummer, but there's no stopping them now.
The one remotely feasible candidate in the last election opposing them was Sanders and he probably couldn't make them stop even if he did get elected.
The man Obama presented himself as during his first run may have had a chance, but that public image was a total sham.
People don't deserve democracy.

Poorfag, here. One of my cpu fans broke and when it spins, it's unbalanced. Is there any way to break the fins off in a certain configuration so that it will be balanced when it spins?
Just mount a case fan to your heat sink and run it with the side of the case open if you don't have any other case fans.
It's 7-symmetrical so the only way to create balance again is to break all fins.
>>58393338
I have one on my heatsink. I just need some airflow in my case

do emulators keep reinterpreting or do they eventually recompile/jit?
How can I get VirtualBox to recognize the super key inside a running VM?
For some reason when I press it, it's not getting received by my Manjaro i3 guest, meaning I can't perform any of the i3 keyboard shortcuts necessary to operate the system.
What are some workarounds? Can I change the super key for my host? Or something less drastic?
