what's the most retarded shit you've ever heard from pc building "enthusiasts"?
>dude u have to get static pressure fans for ur radiator
>look at a static pressure fan
>static pressure: 1.72 mm H2O
>wow why would they use that non-unit
>convert it
>0.0025 psi
>AMD has plenty of drivers
>>58388365
>Nvidia has great drivers
General fear of static, going so far as using those meme wristbands.
Fucking retarded.
PSA: After using Redshift on Fedora 24 I have about 50 stuck pixels.

Jesus Christ! You saved me just in time OP. I was about to use Redshift on Fedora 24, and I literally just saw your post there. Glad I don't have 50 stuck pixels!
Life saver.

Just kill yourself already

Dustbunnies having a party in your machine.
Vacuum your room. Then again. Then take the machine apart and eradicate the remaining bunnies.
After reassembling make sure the room remains clean and place the computer at least 10 cm up from the floor.

Buy a Coolmaster 212 Evo. It gets mentioned on /g/ a lot for a good reason.
Why isn't there a proprietary OS competitor to Microsoft (excluding Apple's bullshit)? Where is the closed-source competitor to DX, or that of another Office for an example?
Surely there are a lot of people who'd gladly do that, but why aren't they getting funded when video games are receiving hundreds of millions?
It seems quite amazing that no one is even attempting to get into this industry, but why?
>>58387511
>why isn't there a proprietary competitor?
>just ignore the one competitor that actually exists
How easy the hostile Microsoft of the 90s became forgotten.
OP, read this: http://www.ecis.eu/documents/Finalversion_Consumerchoicepaper.pdf
This is why they have no competitors.
>>58387511
>or that of another Office for an example?
There are two competing commercial office suit(e)s on the market:
Kingsoft from Chinkistan and Softmaker from Germoney.
As for the OS: Who would pay for an OS without software?
IBM tried with OS/2, got cucked and I don't remember anything else
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYIYQCrcoJo
even Macintosh os is like a fake competitor, never had any significant market share in desktop market
the computing landscape is changing rapidly and most experts agree 2017 will be the year of GNU plus Linux

Nokia 6 page written in moon runes https://www.nokia.com/zh_int/phones/nokia-6
Seems to be a nice phone, I want one.
Nokia are in the prime position just to sell rebranded chink phones.
(It wouldn't be suprisng at all if this phone is literally that)
I wouldnt blame them either if thats their longterm plan. All the R&D money they must have wasted over their last years in the phone market previously.
>>58387290
Yeah but this kinda looks like the Nokia N5
Is cleaning Windows' registry a meme or does it really makes the computer faster?
>>58387230
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/373006/registry-cleaners/
>In most cases, using a cleaner to remove obsolete, invalid, and erroneous entries does not affect system performance but it can result in "unpredictable results".
>>58387230
Don't clean the registry unless you know exactly what you're doing. Considering you've asked this question I'd say you should avoid doing it.

I know it is Pajeet but their site seems to show they are legitimately interested in preserving online privacy.
It's not open-source but they say the code is open to review. I'm not a programmer so it's not much use for me.
Opinions?
>>58387182
>DUD EPICK WIN LMAO xD
into the thrash
If it's not open source then it's shit. Open to review means fuck all.
>>58387182
It's based on chromium and yet unavailable on linux.
It's source is closed and has a website design identical to "buy dis brogram it's not a virooze xD" sites.
It runs in background and starts on bootup by default.
I wouldn't recommend it. Seems like installing a 3rd party botnet to avoid other botnets. I'd rather install Google chrome then. I actually have much more trust in Iridium browser even though it doesn't have built-in proxies, but you can always manually set up one.
