allow me to explain 3 incredibly powerful things here:

global search/lookup: you can right click anything, anywhere and get the option to 'lookup'. this allows you to see definition, thesaurus and also wikipedia/twitter/social media if relevant (i.e. you lookup Eminem)

finder: the finder is the most advanced GUI based file manager out of any OS. it comes with column view and allows you to batch rename an x amount of files

terminal: as a unix system, you are free to access an endless amount of free software packages.

not only is macOS the most powerful OS, it is the most user friendly as well. and on top of that, it is the most aesthetic as well. how in the fuck does apple manage to stay so fuckign ahead of the competition is beyond me, like JEEEESUSSSSS

i never use the lookup feature, or even itunes

all this OS is good for over linux is running a select few proprietary programs.

It looks like it's talking more about how you can know the salt for the hash, which lets you brute force it easier. That's definitely an issue, but not as major as he's making it out to be.

Mathematics aren't hard unless you are doing novel work, why don't you link us your thesis?

Otherwise its just grunt work of practicing abstract reasoning.

Most of it will be completely inapplicable to solving real problems, and a computer scientist that encounters a "real problem" will probably be able to approximate an almost optimal solution either from domain expertise or algebra.
