Will pic related kill my gains ?
Also, any chinese/japanese philosophers worth reading?
Low in calories, high in sodium. That's really it.
It can actually be quite beneficial to consume a little extra sodium, especially if you sweat a lot in the gym or in hot weather.
Don't worry about the 'soy' part. Soy sauce is so fermented, and you'll probably only use a small drizzle on food, that I highly doubt anything negative will come from using it as a condiment.
High sodium intake leads to stomach cancer. Look at the countries with the highest rates of stomach cancer in the world. Korea, Japan, etc. These countries consume tons of salt (Kimchi, soy sauce) and they pay for it.
Shit is bomb with eggs and rice. Tamago gohan, I think it's called. good breakfast long as you've got decent quality eggs
Book of five rings is a good read if you're willing to puzzle it out some. Art of war is a bit of a meme, but is worth reading if you've got the time to appreciate it and try to integrate it into your life some
Is lifting for girls the same as reading for plot?
>>27934
you nailed it...
/lit/ keeps memeing that literature is more than just stories, more than just escapism. And that you don't read it for the plot or the characters. So what the fuck is it about then? What the fuck do you read for, and what makes a good book?

Prose style/aesthetics, beauty, philosophy, provocation of thought

How does /fit/ generally feel about alcohol use in relation to gains? How often do you drink and how much, and do you plan it around gym sessions in case it negatively effects gains?
not /fit/ and i've been drunk once. smoke weed, mate. also digging these sips things i like the original flavor tho
>>27341
I'm 24 and want to see how fit I can possibly be and don't want to alcohol
I've drank 4 times in the past 3 years
I also have no friends, own hundreds of books and a home gym setup that cost around 1200 dollars
I also have gym memberships in two states
One for work and one for home
In short you don't need alcohol :^)
Here's something /lit/ and /fit/ can debate over: are cigars okay? I personally find that a cigar every now and then isn't the end of the world, and it doesn't interfere with my exercise or anything like that. Thoughts?
>>26702
tobacco never did much for me, i prefer hallucinogens
>>26702
Basketball players drink all the time, smoke regularly, and don't watch their macros in the offseason.
They're the most athletic people in the world.
Conclude as you will.
>>26702
a cigar once a week is like having a soda once in a while will make no difference smoke up budd

Who is /fat/ for? Fat members of /fitlit/ who want to learn how to eat right, lift weights, and lose fat. Here we ask others for advice and give moral support to one another. We all know how hard it first is and we all have to get through it to better ourselves. At the end of the day this is a support general whose goal is to help and motivate the chubby channers who need it. Please be warned that there are some chronic idiots who post in this general giving horrible advice that doesn't work for them or anybody. If you see something that contradicts what the sticky says, ignore it.
