Greetings fellow well-rounded citizens.
I am starting a thread for the discussion of supplements. This includes health and fitness supplements (but not steroids/'burners') as well as nootropics.
Feel free to contribute however you like, whether that is sharing your own supplement/nootropic stacks, discussing the effects of specific supplements/stacks, or giving advice to others regarding their supplements/usage.
I will begin the discussion by listing my newly purchased supplements:
======================
t = Tablets/Count
======================
Magnesium - 250mg (600t)
Zinc - 50mg (200t)
Vitamin B-6 - 100mg (300t)
Garlic - 2g (120t)
Fish Oil - 475mg (350t). Quote: Provides 300mg of Omega-3 Fatty Acids (as Ethyl Esters) including: 285mg EPA + DHA.
(I wonder if the garlic extract is redundant with the B-6 and/or Vitamin C)
--and what I already owned beforehand:
Vitamin C (incl. 15mg Rose Hips) - 1g (Unknown t)
Vitamin D3 in dropper form (1,000IU per droplet, unknown remaining quantity). It lasts quite long, at 590 droplet servings (1,000IU).
Creatine Monohydrate - 5g (Unknown remaining quantity)
======================
I am asthmatic. I am attempting to boost my level of nitric oxide and reduce inflammation in my throat and chest. I also want to increase blood flow, and improve other things such as general energy, sleep quality, and libido.
I'm curious what the ideal dosage and distancing may be. I still have research to do. Do any of you have any pointers or sources to assist me with this? Thank you.

Will you mind stating for what are you talking each supplement? Like Magnesium for X performance, Zinc for memory, or however it is.
>falling for the supplement jew

"But a much easier marker: he doesn’t even deadlift."
LMAO! Enjoy reading books, NERDS!
>>24224
Thanks! Try walking next time!
>>24224
Thanks!
Y-you too.
OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK
I MISSED IT. CAN /fitlit/ stay plox??
Quick give me the accumulated knowledge of /fitlit/
At first, we were cautious. We didn't know each other's preferred literary works or one rep maxes. But we communicated...
>"D-do you even lift f-faggot? SS + GOMAD"
>"H-haha, I bet you don't even read John Green, faggot."
And so with time our community grew. /fit/izens taught those of /lit/ how to lift and diet properly, and /lit/izens educated the former in many important literary works. They improved on each other's weaknesses and ended up stronger than they ever were before.
Yes, this was a new era. An era of unlimited strength and knowledge. An era of power.

This golden age would not last long. For the forces of nature and the universe would correct it's perfect mistake in time. The bonds shared between the fitizens and litizens would be broken in a day, and their unique relations with each other would be a memory of better times.
>>24384
>John Green
Into the trash it goes
>>24384
>SS + GOMAD
Into the Trash it does
do you also read while doing exercises?
i dont know how anyone can do that. I just listen to podcasts
>>23508
Audiobooks could work.
>>23508
can't you concentrate
If I consume half a liter of soda with sugar and eat a huge pasta meal mixed with some whey protein shake thirty minutes after a workout, wil I get a sufficient insulin spike to promote optimal muscle growth?
>>23867
No. But diabetes induced gangrene of the lower extremities means that your legs will be amputated from the knee down. But that's okay because you don't work legs anyway.
You should work out and not worry about stupid edge-case shit.
How does one live the /fitlit/ lifestyle?
>GALLON OF BOOKS A DAY
Listen to e-books while lifting.
>>24070
Deadlift 500 lb while reading Phenomenology of Spirit between reps. After you're done, take a good shower and fuck a good boypussy for maximum gainz.
Can I skip the Greeks day?
Not if you want to be a well rounded citizen
>>24421
>half of you's
That means that one of the two other posters ITT is probably a better person than you.
Now that the dust has settled
Is Mishima /fitlit/s official guy?
>>24312
You can see his courage in his physique. Look at it... he didn't go for the easy aesthetic route, instead he decided to forge his body into something that could be defined as human today, 1000 years ago and in 1000 years from now. You can truly see how he strived for the human essence in a truly ahistoric way.
He truly is a man for every time and culture.
>>24312
>manlet
lol no
>>24695
He's japanese, so it does not count.
>tfw Jesus was 4''7
All he had to do was lift...
Is this a board just for the bodybuilder stuff? Or am I OK in your book if I can run a kilometre under 3 min, 100 km in a day cross country skiing and 300 km biking, and don't give a fuck about muscle mass and gains? Also, from /lit/
Well I mean most people just talk about lifting, i'm a cardio buff myself but you won't find as much about cardio here as about lifting.
>>23214
Well, to be honest, generally, there isn't much to talk about here. Once you get into it, you're pretty much free to do it without much theory crafting and planning
>>23311
That's true you can't have a cardio thread if you don't start it
