It's true, you can't have which don't exist
Can hard work overtake genes/natural talent?

Real life isn't one of your Japanese cartoons, get outside.
''The Bible''? More like ''One T R U T H-bomb every 2 sentences for thousands of pages''.
How did it do it?
>the bible
>true
Talmud is the Word
>>26844
The first one was pretty sick with all the vengeance and people getting smacked by the big man but in the second book they really fucked up the plot and most of the characters are shitty. Not bad for a children's story though.

Excuse me, /lit/ is a neocon board.
>>27198
you know it is
Alright /lit/ anons, how do I start to get into reading?
A few things.
1. I have a tough time visualizing anything when I try to read, I have a decent vocabulary so the comprehension isn't the problem just the retention and picturing the scene. Should I start with lower level books? Will this improve or is this not improvable?
2. I do not find myself liking non-fiction ever. I love film and animation for storytelling, but documentaries bore me.
Thanks for the help!
>>26795
honestly this makes me sad :(
>>26795
What have you tried reading so far anon?
>dude semicolons lmao!
Periods are for the weak.

/fitlit/ is necessary to the overall well being of humanity. A man must keep his mind as able and trained as his body, for tools are nothing without the knowledge of when and how to use them. Exercise is also important as it releases endorphins in the brain, keeping a healthier and well-balanced mind. ITT: lessons from philosophers and important figures on the necessity of fitness and health and the discussion of dual importance of both health and knowledge.
What kinds of hobbies do you guys have?
I read and lift but they don't seem like "real" hobbies. I'd like to get a more interesting hobby but I don't even know where to start
>>26762
Grappling. Also, artsy cinema, indie US/EU movies
I also have just those hobbies. I think we should get in something more social. I used to go to some small "litersture gatherings" where a couple of old people talked about literature among other things, it was kind of akwward because i was only 16 at the time, they didnt saw me as a peer
Cooking, growing bonsai, gardening, watchinganime
/fitlit/ do you have foot ceps? flex them here
