I am sad that this will be over by the end of the day, but happy to know that it happened. To know that we can put our differences aside, and come together as one community to realize that if we embrace one another, we can end up as 10x stronger than before.
I want this to stay, but I don't; just like any other new board, it will go to shit after a while. I think of this as a sort of one-week romance you have while on vacation during the summer. You experience the best parts of each other for a short time, then say goodbye before you get the chance to start to hate each other.
We will look back on this and wonder if it was real, or if it was all a dream. But what is beautiful is that no matter how much time passes, we will look back on this and remember that we will always be friends.
As a native /fit/izen, I'm glad we get to spend this time with each other, /lit/izens. May this friendship last forever more.
Becoming /fitlit/ should be our main goal in life. This simple April fools prank made me realize that. Wish the best upon you all, you fucking faggots

Do you even read? Pussy.
Here's the deal: I'm fat and I've just discovered that I REALLY love fruit. I'm serious about it, I could eat it all day long.
And the more watery the better it is! There is something primal in this appreciation: I bite a orange slice, I feel it's juice hitting my palate and I just trascend into a primitive man, reaching immediatly ecstacy.
Now, considering that since 9 days ago I've only eaten junk food, how could I fix my diet putting into it lots of fruit? Also will fruit in large quantities fuck up my body? I really feel that I could eat kilograms and kilograms of fruit everyday without ever getting tired of it.
Also: I really hate vegetables.
Help me and I'll answer any question you may have about Nietzsche's works.
We compare and contrast the literary lifestyle with the fit lifestyle
How useful is skipping for cardio and what should I read while catching my breath?

Skipping is god tier if you do it fast enough. It's also amazing for growing your calves.

Looking for any recommendations, in turn ill post later on some African Philosophers if theirs any interest.
They exist but are quite limited both in scope and in number compared to their western counterparts.
>>25241
don't have any but I'm bumping for African philosophy
>>25263
I have all the books at home buts its hard to find suitable links. Lots of there works are becoming fucking hard to find.
I'll start with Zera Yacob ( 17th century philosopher from Ethiopia), most notable work is Hatata.(Claude Sumners Classical Ethiopian Philosophy is your best bet).
Here's a decent introduction:

Not African but Ancient Egyptian:

(Not useful but pretty interesting)
Another African Philosopher is Anton William Amos( was educated in Germany). He wrote theTreatise on the Art of Philosophising Soberly and Accurately.
Some info on him: http://www.theamoproject.org/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_Wilhelm_Amo ( I know wikipedia links are bad)
Will post more later if this thread still exists.
As you might have noticed these philosophers are all quite dated. This is because a significant number of modern African philosophers focus on arguing over what is African philosophy and what isn't or recording existing tribal beliefs.
Currently on day 3 of telling myself I'm going to read.
Why can I hit the gym four days a week for an hour and a half but sitting down to read before bed is impossible? Too many distractions? Gym buddy but no reading buddy?
I've been reading less since I don't have my roommate's cat to chill with anymore.
Gym is something you go and do. Sitting or laying feet from your computer desk / bed / whatever is distracting. Add in the fact that you've trained yourself to read hypertexts instead of linear books. Have a reading space, where you train yourself to regularly go and read a book. This could be in your house or you could go to a library or park or something. I discovered this when I realized it was infinitely easier for me to read on my hour-long train commute than for an hour in bed.
here are some tricks that helped me read more often:
find topics that interest you and don't just pick up a book at random
read multiple books at the same time so when you bored of one you can switch to something else and still be reading
place yourself in situations that would favor reading as an activity
reward yourself for reading

I swear I made a comment about sipping once on here, or taking that first sip of the day back when I was addicted to energy drinks, and the marketing team at monster have been trying to make it a meme ever since

It was a dude from reddit who spammed

with a sideways photo of a can of monster.
It was just shitposting. Now it's a meme. It was never advertising.

What exactly is wrong with pic related?
I tried taking it and it fucked with my heart and I got scared and quit. I think now it might've been my imagination and regret not doing it, especially as I'm now fully bald before the age of 24. I wish I wouldn't have fallen for the "just shave it girls don't care" back when I was 19-20.

This is the biggest crock of shit in the world, and only people with hair say this. EVERYBODY looks better with hair, even Jason Statham.
