I sprained my wrist in the most innocuous way possible about 2 months ago and the fucking thing still causes me pain.

I thought it had gone and have been working out okay but doing deadlifts yesterday (not even heavy) seems to have set it off again. Been doing them weekly over this time and slowly working my way back up towards decent weight, no fucking idea why it decided yesterday was too much.

Now it's should day and I'm going to have to lift babby weight lest I injure this thing more. Why won't it just get better?

What injuries do you have that just don't seem to go away and how do you manage them?

I have posterior shin splints from a combination of shitty posture and basketball.

I try to space my basketball games out by a week. If it's really bad i'll take painkillers/ice, I haven't tried compression or anything but I may look into that too.

I spend too much time sitting, pelvic tilt.

Hi /fit/,

I have been lifting for a year now (this pic is from the beginning of the year) and have barely gotten any bigger since then. I have trouble gaining weight even though I count my calories and am always around 2,500-3,000 daily.

Also, I have sever scoliosis and will always have a shitty body no matter how much I work out.

Should I just give up on fitness all together?

I started to go to gym recently. Whenever I go there to do something else than cardio, I get muscle pain for at least the next 2 days.
The gym has
* showers
* hot bath
* cold bath
* sauna

Which one or which combination could help with the muscle pain? Or they all have nothing to do with it? Alternatively, how do you relieve muscle pain?

I'm sure you get questions about this all the time, but I want to start running. I have some anxiety issues so I really don't feel comfortable with the idea of running before Midnight or 1 AM. Also, it's cold as fuck in PA right now.

Can you give me some advice for winter/night running or just running in general? What should my form be like? What pace should I be going?

Realistically, how much protein do I need per day? I don't count macros, I'm not trying to build muscle, but I am very athletic and compete in submission grappling.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that 1g per pound or kg body weight are both ridiculously unnecessary.

I see vegans on straight fruit only diets who are shredded.

I shave my pubes in the shower after the hot water has opened up my pores. I do it maybe once a month or so, so my pubes stay short all the time. I used to just trim them with scissors though. My drain has a catcher for the hairs.
