rest and getting yer micros is your best bet.

running on concrete is absolutely inexcusable, will confirmed fuck your joints.

it takes time to build the bone density and muscle to be able to run many miles a week/month, youve worn your body out and need to rest rest rest.

Alright /fit/, what are your thoughts and experiences on intermittent meme'ing? Is it all that it's cracked up to be, or is it just a pile of bro-science, heresy, and nonsense? I'll be doing my first honest cut starting in around three days, going to early June, so I'd like to here your opinions.

Current plan:

Eat 1500-2000 calories a day (maintenance is around 2700 with all my exercise)
150-180 grams of protein, no limit on carbs, salt, or whatever else
Eat only during 4 hour period from around 7-11pm
Workout as usual 45m-1.5h around 5-6 days a week (ends up being around 6-7pm)
Run whenever I can fit in my schedule
Drink water, green tea, etc whenever I want my stomach to stfu

I've done something I never even thought was possible in recomping my body whilst IF. I've put on quite a bit of solid mass and I'm 25 pounds lighter than I was 5 months ago.

What is the benefit to doing lunges instead of squats? Why not just do squats and hit both legs at the same time?

Back in my first year lifting (lifting 5 years now) I use to min-max everything, did all the meme things. I was so obsessed with maximizing gains that I was having cold showers.

What did I gain from doing it? Nothing at all, it's all just bro-science shit. I did get hypothermia side effects sometimes though. There comes a time in your life where you realize 99.99% of all the advice you hear online regarding lifting/dieting/health is 100% bullshit.

Please don't anon as a beginner you'll get gains almost no matter what. But if you're looking for suggestions I'd go with ICF 5x5 if you have time to spend 2 hours in the gym. If not, go with the Candito linear program. Both are free and better than the Kinobody programs.

Let's pretend for a second that native American folklore turned out to be partially based on fact. Im 4 weeks into an oral cycle of Anavar, and next week I am going on a week long trip across the country for work. I am flying, and there is no way I can bring it with me. Should I slowly decrease my dosage this week? When i get back ill still have 3 weeks worth left, is it pointless to try and start taking it again at that point?
