About to drop $900 on a rack, bench, bar, and 250 lbs.

I've search Craig's list in the Buffalo NY and don't see anything worth jumping on.

Am I missing a plate set that would make this cheaper?

Squat stands are cheaper than squat racks, if you don't mind the reduced safety.

I found $250 weight set of 300lb incl. barbell.

The bar is surprisingly decent quality. It needs lube to properly spin, but outside of that it is a perfectly capable oly bar.. No different than the ones at my wl gym.

That was at sports authority...

Can someone explain to me, a 5'5" male, how:

>Start on a diet in February
>Tough diet, aiming for around 1200 calories daily
>Have cheat day every Friday where I eat junk food
>But remain cautious to make sure to not consume over 1500 calories
>I eat 2 meals a day, breakfast and dinner
>This is simply because of my meal plan in college
>Also do some lifting with Dumbbells, run atleast 20 minutes everyday
>Weigh 152 lbs when started
>It was tough but stuck to my regime

This makes no sense /fit/. Is my body stuck or something? I'm happy that the damage I did over the week was minimal, but I feel I can't lower my weight no matter what! Is there something I'm not understanding?

Definitely know that feel, in high school was a 130 lb soaking wet almost literal skele, shame cause I have a decent face, but women always just looked at me as cute like a little brother, guys were quick to bully me or not respect me too hugely, because you know they can easily beat my ass, I was just an awkward nerd, years later and I'm still p skele 5'10 170, but it's a huge difference and I'm more fit than most Normies and people look at me with more respect and women actually see me as a man and I get mired lots, I imagine some also just has to do w more confidence, but I think it certainly helps Im not smaller than or as small as most women.

Still got a ways to go though, can't even imagine what it'll be like at 190 lb lean
