My mom has rheumatoid arthritis. She has pain mostly in her back. She's 50 and overweight but not obese. Weightlifting is supposed to strengthen your bones and joints, right? Would it make sense to get her to start lifting? I was thinking that strengthening her body would help her out. I imagine losing weight would be helpful too, I've been trying to teach her calories in calories out for a couple years now.

Sex drive / libido - nofap, or alwaysfap?

I'm 25, in decent shape. So I broke up like two months ago, and my libido is just gone. Haven't had a random boner except a couple in the middle of the night. I wanna get back on the train and take advantage of my singlehood. But I don't really have any drive too. Had some weird premature thing for a second too, but that went away. I ended up naked in bed with a 9/10, getting sucked and it took like 15 minutes to get it up.

Help me fix my dick, fit. I nofapped for two weeks, didn't see a difference. How do I get my libido raging? I lift at least 3x a week. Should I nofap longer? Start tapping all the time? Edging? What's worked for you?

Do you watch pornography? If you do, then you may have Porn-Induced Erectile Dysfunction, in which case it will take much longer than 2 weeks to get your drive back. PIED is a result of being addicted to porn, so if you use porn multiple times per week, it could be causing these problems.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe see a doctor?

I was thinking of skipping first day at gym.
Cancel my sub.
Probably never go again.

I decided to go, every part of me did not want to.
I was dead nervous.

I couldn't think of anything but what people there would think of me.
The buff guy at reception holding pen like an illiterate. The qt3.14 in squat rack doing dumbbell deadlifts.

Hiding nervousness, I went straight to stationary bike, started pedalling.
Few minutes later went for bench press.
I pressed 40 KGs, tried best to maintain good form I had learned from tens of articles and YouTube videos.
Then went for pull-ups. Couldn't do a single one.

What I realized there was that nobody, not a single soul seemed to care what I was doing.

Nobody gave a single fuck.

It's funny how nervous and scared I was.
I had a great workout. Even had a pump in my biceps.
I'm looking forward to my next workout.

Hey /fit/izens. My girl is 170cm high and weighs only 49 kgs. She wants to gain some healthy weight by going to the gym and taking in enough calories. I suggested to her that she should enter the bubble butt mode, if she's already gonna go to the gym. She said ok, now we need a proven and tested weekly routine and meal plan that will result in a nice bubble butt, while still activating the rest of her body. I am very noob at this, so pls no roasting.

The key is to find something you like in which you'll be motivated to perform. If you like the activity and want to do it well, you'll be motivated to improve your fitness for the sport, and it will make you look better and feel better.

This is the bulk of my work out. I sometimes add or remove exercises. I do 5 sets for everything, the reps vary from 3 to 15. I do 3 chinups, for now, but I'll do 8 pushups, and 15 calf raises, etc. I go up with reps until I reach 10 comfortably, at which I load up. I only have DB.

Progress has been excellent over the past few weeks: I couldn't do a single pushups a few months ago only, now I can do 8, which hasn't stopped amazing me yet. I couldn't do a single chinup 4 weeks ago. I managed to do 4 and I still can't believe it. I'm 75 kilos.

I've changed my program a lot over the months, often because of /fit/ advice, but this is what I have for now: based on efficient principles, works most muscles in most ways, no useless variety. Push, pull, legs, although I'm aware the squats are lacking. They used to be in my program, and I still squat sometimes, but I'm waiting for a barbell to get started on that stuff. I've grown major quads, compared to before, by just squatting my bodyweight for months.

You can comment on my work out, add things, remove things, etc. I'm not interested in a brosplit, although this workout takes me almost 2 hours to complete. I don't believe that past a certain point, you start raping your gains. That sounds like bullshit spread by gym owners, to both minimise attendance and maximise their financial gains as it takes you twice as much time with shorter sessions, to get anywhere, or to give up, as I imagine is the case for most gym-goers. Give up later, give us more money.
