I've been like this since high school. Over the years I've done everything I've been told to gain weight. I've even tried being a lazy fuck for a few years and nothing.

Everyone, including doctors, said not to worry cause once I hit 30 I would start to pack on pounds.

I've been training everyday for the past three months to pass a physical agility test, which I did. I actually did better than some guys that were bigger than me, but I still don't gain mass.

I'm tired of this shit. I don't want to gain much, maybe 20lbs, but if I eat anymore I'll go broke.

So I want to try weight gainers. Do they work? If so which is better? If not what can you recommend?

A year later I am 145. Still spooky but it's something.
Here is what worked for me.
Lift heavy weights 4 times a week. Drink mass-gainers for two months. Drink protein shakes after.
Watch Rich Piana's Bigger By The Day for motivation.

my dinner is a shitton of vegetables and enough chicken for protein, and even though i dont eat more then 1400 cals i can barely eat it all.

usually i go to bed hungry but the past month after i cut everything but veggies and chicken i never ever feel hungry when i sleep.

I'm a former D-1 rugby player, have abs at 6'1" 240 lbs, worked as a bouncer, Did army ROTC in college turning it down for 70k finance job, and I bench somewhere around 420 lbs. I grew up on base and boxed since I was 8. I've got the quickest hands I've ever seen in person from a non professional fighter, especially at my weight. people have no idea what it's like walking around as big and as strong as someone like me. First of all, 95% of men walk in fear of me, and 95% of the other 5% of men are just retarded.

Literally the last 3 altercations I've been in with other males ended with me giving them one back hand slap and knocking them to the ground (I'm terrified of hitting most men and either killing them or putting them into a coma)

If stats are real I will give you a strong maybe. There are weight classes for a reason and you're obviously physically fit which gives you a massive advantage with weight, strength etc.

That being said a lot of people seriously underestimate professional fighters just because they don't look like they're jacked and or big.

Losing weight. Been running a lot and shedding fat faster than expected. Also discovered I love running. I plan to do a 5k this summer.

If I continue on this path am I doomed to Twig City, or is it possible to maintain some muscle while also trying to run a Marathon if I also lift and eat right? If it matters, I don't care about being the fastest runner there.

I know some cardio is good and too much cardio kills gains, and probably running 26 miles is too much cardio. But is there any way to balance these two goals?

I don't need to be hueg, just ottermode is fine.

Cardio doesn't kill your gains.

This is Casey Neistat, he almost exclusively runs marathons and skateboards, he only lifts when it's bad weather, and running a long distance isn't possible.

If you make gains, you aren't going to lose them to cardio, but if you lift and then run a marathon on your rest day, you likely won't gain any muscle.

Scooby's site has more detailed information on this, but no, you aren't going to be a superskelly if you run 5k every now and then, just EAT.

And if you really think it's going to steal your gains, EAT MORE.

been doing ppl for a few months now and although i am seeing muscle development, my lifts haven't improved since i started training. i'm afraid that i'll eventually plateau and won't be lifting enough to develop my muscles.

decided to run SS. any thoughts? how was your experience with SS? any recommendations or tips?

can i do cardio on the days in between?

SS is legit, was on a brosplit for 6month-ish before i started, doubled my maxes and working out became way more fun (80kg squat to 160kg). You can add cardio, but not every day, (Might want to take up something easier on the legs since squatting 3 times a week is pretty brutal)
Don't eat a disgusting amount of food, slightly over maintenance. Would recommend getting a foamroller.

6 months. The cheap ones are like 10 bucks, buy one and use it at home, or you can just get a lacrosseball. I use it mostly for my hamstrings.
depending on the day, usually around 40-50 min. Added some accessories after a month or two (dips, curls, lateral raises and farmer walks)
