How much protein do you /fit/izens need to get get gains?

I've been trying to get .9 to 1.0g/lb of body weight. After years of extreme and ridiculous flatulence from process protein powders, I'm not reading that the data is showing that 0.8/lb of body weight is actually the upper limit of protein intake needed. In most cases, we need even less than 0.8.

I'm obviously going to test this out with myself, reduce my protein, and see if I can put on the last 5 pounds that I want to put on, but has anyone here tried 0.8? How were your results?

yeah. anecdotal evidence is important because "science" measures averages and means instead of individuals. "science" is also politicized and misused. Torture the numbers and they tell you what you want to hear, kind of like terrorists.

"science" once said that marijuana made us all go crazy and drown each other in pools and fuck black men.

"science" is routinely used to infringe on Constitutional freedoms.

So yeah. I like to use anecdotal evidence as another data point to inform my decision making in addition to "science."

To all you insecure guys who are struggling coming into terms of hairloss... there is a solution to help you through the transition.

You don't have to shave your entire head to the scalp. Instead do what Jude Law does, keep about an inch or 2 and then get a little gel and perk up the front patch a little.

It's beautiful taking an insecurity and then turning it into something fashionable.

That's right: a NAIA National Wrestling Champion and two time NJCAA All-American in amateur wrestling. I was undefeated in college with a record of 85-0. Not Only that but I hold a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Sambo. I am currently competing in MMA, and will most likely be competing in big leagues ( UFC , WWE) if i maintain my success.

They're already calling me the next Brock Lesnar. And in JAPAN i am already considered as a GOD in Wrestling . Soon i will compete for the Yokuzona titel.

With my 6'2 and 370 lbs frame, not to mention my incredible brute force and amazing agility associated with manlets like u guys. I have no doubt in my mind that if any of you Hentai fapping pencil necked faggots faced me one on one in real life, you would be in your grave before u fucking knew it

had a surgery a week ago. Doc told me I can't lift for 3 months. I have lost around 4 kg. Life sucks. Will I ever be able to get back the way I was before surgery? Anybody had simillar happened to him? Any advice? 3 months is so long time.

Havent gone through anything similar, but id say start off light when you get back into. Get your body used to working out again before you go back to your regular routine.

You will be set back by seemingly an awful amount. But it will come back pretty fast too.

It sucks balls that youre gonna lose all that progress, but use it as motivation. Make it your goal to get back to where you were

After a few years lifting/counting calories I totally lost interest in food. I just eat for gains now. I don't have any thought of food outside of that. I can't even remember the last time I had a cheat day, I just don't feel like it.

Maybe I am depressed? I don't know. I just don't get joy out of food anymore like I use to. It's similar to when I use to play video games, I'd always look forward to them and just went nuts on them. I had the same thing with food, I'd always love when cheat day came around, couldn't wait, got so excited for it. But now? I have no interest, the whole concept has no meaning to me anymore.

Oh well, leanest I've ever been in my life right now, and still strong as fuck and most LBM I've ever had so far in my time lifting.

hi fitizens good evening. I am finally going to
remove my horizontal lower left wisdom teeth by surgical incision in about 12 hours and i am quite shook. I had the twin lower right one removed last year because of an inflammation and i can still remember the super pain of the first 4 injections to the gums for the local anesthesia. And then the pain post op when you are back home. Oh my. Please share some stories of yours if you had this wisdom from this trial of fire too. Thanks much.

My experience was a solid 9.5/10. I so would have my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow if I could, but alas, they're gone forever.
