So /fit/, is it true that I should only workout for an hour a day at most?

Are times sets (90 seconds to rest) effective or is it all just a meme?

It is only volume-load that effects results. Low reps-high load is good for strength. High reps-low load is good for endurance.

If your workouts take more than 1h30 then you're either overdoing it or are resting too much. 2-3 minutes for hypertrophy and 5 for strength

Hello /fit/ currently losing weight, if the scale is to be trusted I'm at 38%bf and my progress is good so far, but I'm afraid of the aftermath and loose skin and the advice I've seen is not to lose weight too fast so the skin can heal as fast as you are losing weight.

So how fast is too fast ?

I've been cutting on 1500kcal daily and the weight loss progress is good so far, down about 8kg from 130 to 122 but it's too early to visibly judge skin, my TDEE seems to be around 3200kcal according to some calculator online, so base your opinion on whether or not it's too much on that.

Also, if I see that there's too much loose skin after losing weight, can I do a dreamer's bulk to fill it back up and lose weight again more slowly or is it a one time thing where the damage is done after getting fat in the first place and reparation attempts by the body only take place during the first weight loss?

Keep in mind that muscle loss isn't a factor as I'm lifting while cutting and getting enough protons and even if I lose muscle I already came to terms with it, loose skin is the most important question as of right now

Being fat is totally worth it.
Way better than being an anemic thincuck or a roided, gay liftlet.

While thincucks are out cold for lack of nutrients and liftlets fuck each other in the gym showers, I lay in bed, perfecting my artistic technique, both in the canvas and in the pan, rivaling the likes of Velasquez in "Las Meninas" ,and Robuchon's "Nouvelle cuisine". I have even left some Cheeto stains in my paintings on purpose and people cherish them, all ignorant thincucks/liftlet degenerates, obviously.

Is Scoob right when he says that for the first month of lifting, I should be lifting almost nothing to build proper form and strengthen tendons?
I'm a bit conflicted with his advice and Rippetoes SS. I'd just like to know where to start in terms of weight.

That is what I do. I squat and deadlift on the same day twice a week.

I try and alternate which one I start my work outwith, so I can alternate which lift I am fresh for that day.

I drink about 90 grams of protein a day as long as I worked out that day. The rest is from food I eat. I do not eat very much because I get full so fast. I'm also 5'9 142. I was 135 last month and have put on some quality lean mass. No fat over here. Im also 21 if that matters.
