>that 16 year old kid that lifts with his dad
>that 20-something year old neet that doesn't lift and instead shitposts on a Guatemalan polevaulting irc chatroom
>that 30 year old that sits at home hating on father/son relationships because he got molested
Literally what is wrong with this? Is he bigger than you or something?

What did you/do you plan to eat today?
General questions?
Just crushed an amazing pilates workout with my transgender black boyfriend Transniqua, now going to enjoy me a Vegan Pink Power Chia Smoothie and watch Gossip Girls.

nice, which season you on familia

I had some Daiya Mac and Cheese for breakfast, it was my first time ever having it. I will probably only ever have it every once in awhile because it is full of fat, but I want to branch out and try more vegan foods.
I plan on having steamed cabbage and kale for lunch and rice and tofu for dinner. The tofu is marinating in a special sauce...yet another thing that I haven't tried yet. I have about...40 pounds of rice due to my husband buying a 20 pound bag and then we got another 20 pounds from our mutual friend who didn't want it.
Rice is now my life.
After today, my plan is to have a smoothie for breakfast with silk vanilla soymilk, mixed frozen fruit, dates and some sweet leaf stevia drops, some form of veggies for lunch and rice/pasta for dinner.
Hello /fit/ , got a question for you:
I read the sticky and it says that you should eat 10-12 * bodyweight in lbs to lose weight.
I weight 164 lbs so that's (1640-1978 kcals) and wanna go down to 150 lbs ( 1500-1800 kcals).
Here's the question : if i eat like 1600 kcals/day would i go down to 150 lbs without changing my diet or would i have to change it anyway not to make my body get used to it?
I think counting calories is not enough. You won't lose weight if you eat 1600 cal of french fries with mayo every day. You should also eat healthy and keep track of your macros. That's the best way to lose weight. Works for me :)
>>36553533
Yeah i know i keep my macros in check and eat healthy. I was just wondering if i could go from 164 lbs to 150 basically without changing the diet. Thanks for the answer though :)
no idea. bumperino for someone to see
Who /toe nail fungus/ here?
I think i'm fucked, big toe nails are yellow-white-ish
I will consult with my dr about anti-fungal applications
My toes don't look terrible, but when I dig underneath when cutting there is a bad smell on the gunk
>>36552988
Went to the doc, she didn't see the yellow nails at all, looked for pus underneath the nail, nothing there.
Is it possible to get that shit from diabetes.
>>36552783
right one :'<
Recommend me some books/audio books /fit/. I prefer audio books since I can listen to them in the gym. I just got laid off and I want to better myself while I am having this down time. So I come out of this a better man.
The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up
If you have the habit of having a messy home then this book is good.
It's kinda written for the mind of a woman but it's helped me get my shit togheter nonetheless.
Also, the narrator is great
>>36553150
I actually am messy thanks
>>36552778
I mainly listen to podcasts
for general knowledge about everything, Stuff You should know, is really good.
Have listened through almost every episode I think when I commute, ride bike or lift.
>tfw 85 dollars left over for food each month
>tfw trying to gain weight but usually can't eat a few days of the month
what are really cheap foods with high calories /fit/?
>>36552761
>85 buck
You have more than enough to eat like a king. Wtf is wrong with you?
>>36552761
fast food
>>36552761
Olive oil. But in all seriousness a tactic that some ultra marathoners will use is eating a whole stick of butter while competing in order to get enough calories. So if you put olive oil or butter or any other source of fat in all of your foods you should be able to get more calories in.
>women doing less than their bodyweight on the leg press machines
>literally easier than standing
Why do women do this?
>>36552743
>woman literally doing the lowest weight on the leg press machine
>does about 7 or 8 reps
>goes back to chat with her friend
this is how about 90% of women work out and then post on facebook about hitting the gym hard and earning their triplefrappemoccahlato with extra cream
>people loading up 4-5 plates on each site
>wiggle their feet a little
reeeee
Just had a bitch say she did 120 reps on the leg press machine and that she was so proud of herself. Wtf who does 120 reps on any machine? What are you lifting? Butterflies?
Has anyone ever been downright angry at your progress?
My old man gets super defensive when people compliment my improvement around him. He does anything he can to put me down and get me to quit lifting, because he doesn't have the determination to get in shape.
Fuck yo pops, if you're getting closer to your goals he should be happy for you.
>>36552929
He's got some sort of mental complex where he has to be better than others and he has to be right. It seems like my progress is really bugging him.
Sorry to hear your dads a cunt
My dad loves my progress
I remember bein a little stick boy freakin out about my little twiggy stick arms. Id ask my dad 'am i ever gonna be bigger or athletic like the other kids in my grade?'
Hed pat me on the back and say not to worry about it
I pestered him to bring me to a doctor about it to ease my fears of bein a skeleton for life. Doctor prescribed me GOMAD basically lmao
10yrs later im 6'2 195lbs chad mode and everytime i see him hes got a huge smile and grabs my delts, slaps me on the back and squeezes my arm and says 'looks like youre gettin enough to eat eh buddy'
Good dad feels
Rate my breakfast /fit/
Are you even trying OP? This is either bait or you are just a fat DYEL'er. I do like those flavor of Cheetos though, top tier for sure.
>>36552736

Feels good bro
Did your family notice your swole this Easter?
>>36552621
my family doesnt care
>>36552621
I'm muslim t b h :)
Family did notice actually.
Just shows that getting off your arse and doing a little bit is good if you're fat or a skelly.
Once you get to slightly fit motivation must come from other sources.
>tfw hands look embarrassingly tiny thanks to body gains
Why is this becoming such an issue with guys on /fit/?
You should fix that body dysmorphia, familia
>>36552614
That's your punishment for being a manlet
you can get bigger hands by working with the hands using sharp, though objects like rock climbers.
I have yet to see anyone over 60 with baby hands in my country and i come from agricultural country.
Most guys in their 60's have fingers twice as thick as average guy in my generation and thick palms will also give you longer palms overall.
>0 - 30s: Shit tier.
>30 - 60s: Absolute noob
>60s - 120s: Still beginner.
>3 - 5 minutes: Medium. May be impressive to the shit levels.
>~10 minutes: Decent core strength
>20 minutes and above: Solid core strength
How long can you plank /fit/?
>>36552476
You set the bar too low...what about >2 hours?
>>36552476
I'm probably only beginner or medium tier, because I get bored way before I have to give up.
I kinda like them as a nice core exercise, but fuck me, are they boring. Situps or stuff like them at least requires some movement, but they fuck with my neck.
also, they take too much time. I can easily do two 20reps sets of situps in the morning, after leaving bed, and have a nice "I did something" feeling, but with planks, I would need to get up an hour earlier for that.
How can I into planking better?
why the fuck would anyone hold the plank for more than a minute anyway. Pointless, find a harder exercise if more than 1 minute is easy.
Is OHP every sesh an option?
Lifting for 5 months
OHP: 70lbs / 32,5kg at 5x5
Bench: 130lbs / 60kg at 5x5
Squat: 220lbs / 100kg at 5x5
DL: 220lbs/ 100kg at 2x5~
bent Row: 155 / 70kg at 5x7
Shit mobility in my shoulders and arching with strain on mid back when OHPing have led me to conclude that I have to reshift the focus of my workouts. I plan to throw in Cable stretching and shoulder dislocations, adding this as warm up (https://youtu.be/FJlm3QTESKE?t=246) to work on my shit shoulders, wondering what 3 day program i should maintain, came up with this to regain some symmetry:
A
5x5 OHP
3x5 Squat
3x10 inclined bench press
2xF pull-up
3x10 tricep pulldown
Core work
B
5x5 OHP
3x5 Deadlift
3x10 bench press
3x10 Pendlay row
5x5 Bent-over Barbell row
3x10 cable pullover
Core work
Any critique or suggestions of other programs are welcomed; can't think of a better way to work on my shoulders.Maybe /fit/ doesnt know but its worth a shot
>>36552427
dont ever talk to me or my ohp again
>>36552443
try 3*5 OHP twice a week as opposed to 5*5 three times a week
Hey fit, am I autistic for having pic related as my phone background?
>>36552325
a little, but we all are
>>36552325
For normies yes
>>36552325
no it's not. metaphorically here you can see humanity on their knees begging or worshiping the gods in all their glory.
