I know you're memeing but this is depressing since I've slowly been building up towards doing 1 proper push up for the last 2 months.

I used to do 100+ pushups every single day before I started lifting. This was before one punch man came out. I don't have autism. At first I had chronic muscle pain in my shoulders, nothing unbearable and it never slowed me down. After a while it went away and after about 6 months I had juicy round shoulders and overly big triceps compared to my biceps. Also a hard chest and visible upper abs. I was also doing a lot of cardio and playing sports. But I've always done those things.

Those were my first real gains. All thanks to pushups. I'll defend bodyweight exercise to the death and I don't even do it anymore. Its great for beginners.

Are bench press drop sets effective?
I started with my max weight, did sets and reps until failure, decreased weight by 5lbs, and kept going until I got to only be able to lift the bar.

I'd do em with dumbbells, that way you don't have to worry about dropping the fucking bar on yourself or doing the roll of shame. But yes, it works. Hypertrophy is hypertrophy.

Why is it so easy for manlets to have great bodies?
This guy just eats a well rounded diet without lifting at all. He looks better than 90% of fit.

Should I abandon chest completely?
I've dreamed of an aesthetic and big chest for pretty much my early teenage years and now, after lifting for some time I realize that my chest genetics are shit and will never be aesthetic due chest gap and asymmetrical chest. So I'm thinking, pecs are one of the smallest muscle group of all and should not really affect growth of other muscles especcialy if I do I leg&back day instead of chest day. So /fit/, should I and how it will affect my looks?

What you do senpai, is you keep running

It's this really old weird tip I picked up from a 19th century running guidw but it really works.
Basically, if you feel like stopping before you finish the marathon, instead of stopping, keep running and then you'll finish the marathon.

All seriousness if it's in two weeks you can't change anything now, make sure you're well rested and eat plenty of food in the week leading up to it.

Why have you not gotten on a modified Nutraloaf diet? It supplies all needed nutrients and with added beans, eggs, or meats, you can have as much protein as you need. Add hot sauce or ketchup and eat this 5 times a day for the rest of your life. Why don't more people do this?

I'm worried my testosterone production will be interfered with.

Lately it's been hard to hold the bar with double overhands when deadlifting. I can lift it, just not hold it anymore. I don't want to use straps.

I tried mixed grip and it made it so much easier. However it also felt like it twists the body in a fucked up way and that it will fuck me up long term.

Yes or no?

I'll bite because that was pretty much me 2 years ago.

Read the fucking sticky. I'm not kidding, it's really good information. Then pick any beginner powerlifting routine and get your ass to the gym. You'll be weak as fuck and sore as fuck for a while, and maybe you'll feel like everyone is watching you and judging you for pushing bitch weight, but they don't care how much you lift because they're only there for them and even if they do judge it doesn't matter because that makes them shitty people. If you stick with it long enough you will become bigger and stronger than them.

Food is extremely important. Eat until you are uncomfortable, drink your protein shakes and be consistent. Count calories until you get a feel for how much you are eating. Nutrition is almost as important as actually lifting when you're that skinny.

Get your sleep routine locked down too. I still struggle with that but it is also crucial to your gains and to your mental and physical health in general.

Honestly the real challenge isn't lifting heavy things or eating right or getting sleep. The real challenge lies in forming the habits that make doing all those things second nature. Once you've settled into that routine, you can't lose. Good luck and God speed OP. We're all going to make it.
