/fit/, I think I'm actually ready to kill myself. I have been on steady decline of weight for over 2 years now, about 50lbs, until these last two months I have been unable to shed a single pound. I track everything religiously down to the last calorie, everything I eat is made at home, my doctor has not found anything physically wrong with me and keeps spouting fat acceptance crap at me. I don't want to be fat! And now I just found out I've been measuring my BF% all wrong and I'm 10% higher than I thought and that much fucking further from how I want to look. I think I'm done. A knife sounds really nice to pluck and pick away his worthless flesh until I'm finally happy.
A word of advice, don't hope, because you will work hard and do everything /fit/ tells you and his fat fucking flesh still won't budge an inch.

How does /fit/ cope with anxiety? More precisely stage fright. I was casted as part of a television program in my country called xfactor and I might have to perform in front of thousands of people. I have severe anxiety when getting up in front of crowds, and I'm worried that I could fuck up on this one.
What approach should I use to tackle it? Drugs? Help?

try phenibut, just dont take it every day
>>42376888
Does phenibut just take the edge off or is it speedy as fuck?
>>42376874
My anxiety got so bad I had a hard time moving when I first woke up(just layed there shaking)
I went on a clean paleoish diet and started doing Wim Hof method.
I haven't felt anxiety like that since.
Reminder that there is literally no reason to bench unless you care about 'aesthetics' like a woman.
>>42376822
No reason to OHP too right
Good thread op
>>42376822
This makes absolutely no sense. It sounds like youre implying benching leads to aesthetics when in reality most people say benching is shit for aesthetics and its primarily a power movement that almost no women do. Basically go back to r9k.

Gary Yourofsky is a vegan activist, not exactly the calmest person you could speak of (especially when he's debating someone), but if you instead try to listen to someone which is not into activism and only in for the health benefit, like, most of the doctors and youtubers, you're going to discover that they're pretty much normal people, some of them are more excited and some of them are less.
btw, before any of you faggots jump on my throat, I tried for 2 months a keto diet, and I was pretty much low energy all the time, that was pretty much the reason I wouldn't get extremely agitated or angry, I couldn't, I was so fucked up that I was barely speaking at all, brain fog etc.
The temporary "crystal clear" sensation fades away pretty quickly, between 2 weeks iirc.
I started calorie counting and I went from 6'0 at 107kg to 91kg.
I've noticed a couple things...
>My legs are disproportionate to my upper body by a large margin
>My weight loss has slowed significantly since 94kg despite incorporating boxing training
>I still have gyno.
I'm not the type to let any of that get me down but I want to compete at light heavyweight(81kg max) which means I realistically need to be sitting healthy at 84kg.
I'm guessing I'm at around 19-21% bodyfat too. So here're my questions...
>Can I healthily get to 84kg and still be able to sweat suit my weight down to 81 for weigh ins?
>Are large, muscular legs something common in fat guts who cut weight?
>Is the weight loss slow down normal or a sign I need to recalculate how much I'm eating?
>If I'm to start lifting, are there any words of advice from others who lift and do combat sports?
Pic unrelated

>Are large, muscular legs something common in fat guts who cut weight?
Ex fatty here. My calfs are joocy af. Every day is leg day when you're carrying around an extra 100lbs
>>42376576
> I realistically need to be sitting healthy at 84kg.
Mate I'm 5'10, been lifting since March and look healthy. By no means do I have much muscle mass but after being a 70kg skele and bulking to 84kg I look better than I did.
At 6'0 you should really stay recomp at 95kg and increase your muscle %
>>42376576
A lot of fatties who cut down have thicc calves, fat legs are genetic but good depending on who you are I store loads of fat on my inner thigh but have always had naturally very muscular legs which is good for being thicc
>I failed a 4pl8 front squat
I have failed you brahs

My parents are worried that I lift weights
their reasoning is that when I grow old, I will be injured all over. Seeing, that I've already had one injury (pulled muscle during squats), I couldn't refute their claim.
how true is this /fit/? Is weight lifting healthy long term wise?
Your parents are right, lifting is what you would call a "gateway hobby" soon enough youll start injecting needles and losing your balls
>>42376506
what if you don't do those? I can't imagine myself ever roiding to be quite honest (been lifting for 1 year)
>>42376446
They're wrong and you won't be. Lifting not only helps you preserve a healthy cardiovascular system and stave off atrophy, but it also has a positive effect on your brain function and will help prevent dementia in your old age. But you have to start doing it now, when you're young.
So I lifted free weights for the first time yesterday and now my elbow tendon area is killing me. How do I fix this? Can I do anything to speed up the healing process? What can I do to avoid this? Should I workout today or wait? I was planning on doing chest, triceps, and shoulders today, but since my arms don't work properly, I guess I'll do legs and cardio instead.
Hit your elbow against a concrete wall 7-10 times

Difference between natty high and normal test is irrelevant.
>Diet
Even without working, a healthy diet can keep you in good shape
>Routine
Good diet and basic routine alone will give you a six pack eventually and muscle. The math is easy, it's doing it what fucks up people.
>Testosterone
If you mean testosterone in the most basic quantity then this is #2- you can't really progress without it- but if you mean in general it's not the end all be all, hell women are fit now these days anon get a gun to ward em off
>Genetics
Good genetics can make it easier and can make you look better

Daily reminder if you classify as anything higher than a middleweight, you're an out of shape slob.
There is literally NO REASON to weigh more than 185lb for competitive performance.
Anything more is just a hindrance, you may as well be 600lb of fat.
>can't wipe themselves properly cos all the excess meat.
