Any of you faglets tried the new Chizza yet? Thinking of getting me one after work
>chicken parm with a couple of extra toppings
Have fun I guess
>>9014738
Hey, FUCKHEAD. did your post answer my question? No, so don't fucking post you pathetic little maggot, I don't give a fuck what you have to say
I do not live in gibberish country
Rate my chili, you co/ck/s.
>1 1/2 lb ground beef
>half yellow onion, diced
>bulb garlic, chopped
>1 jalapeƱo, diced
>1 small red bell pepper, diced
>quart homemade vegetable stock
>can each chili/kidney beans
I don't measure spices so:
>lotta chili powder, cumin, pepper, dried oregano
>some salt, turmeric, dried thyme, cayenne
Browned seasoned beef, added veggies, then stock, simmered for an hour, added beans, still simmerin'.
no ketchup, no chili powders.
Oh shit, forgot the two diced Roma tomatoes and small can of tomato paste. Also: gonna serve over rice.

>ketchup
Do people really do this?
Instead of dough, why don't we use potatoes as the base for pizza?
Hot potato cakes sprinkled with cheese and a tomato dip on the side would be legendary. Gonna try it tomorrow.
I've seen recipes that use cauliflower as a healthy alternative to a dough pizza base, never tried it but it sounds interesting.
>>9014022
probably because of rigidity issues
I've had pizza with a mashed potato instead of tomato sauce base though and it was surprisingly good
I think they are fake set pieces just put there to pretend A&W has been around for a long time but really they are all fake like the moon landing. Do any of you even remember seeing an A&W before 1993?
I'm not sure what they gain by this ruse, though.
>>9013974
I don't remember seeing anything before 1993, because that's when I was born.
>>9013974
There used to be an A&W on the way out to the lake, so yeah.
>>9013974

Electric stoves > gas stoves
>>9013411
Nope
>>9013411
>said nobody ever
what if you want to use a wok?
>>9013411
I used to have gas but after moving to a new place it only had an electric stove. I kinda miss the gas stove, things got hot much faster.
What's your favourite pasta? I'm boring, I love spaghetti.
>>9013393
Ravioli>Spaghetti>Lasagna
Everything else is irrelevant
>>9013410
Shit, I forgot to add stuffed shells. Stuffed shells are easily better than spaghetti in my rankings, I just forget about them because they're so expensive to make that I rarely do.

Fettuccine Alfredo Master race
Went to the farmer's market.
Came home with scallions, thai basil, lemongrass, whole allspice, and habaneros.
Took my first stab at homemade Jamaican Jerk sauce. It came out slightly sweeter than I would prefer, but still pretty good. Definitely reducing the brown sugar dramatically and substituting pineapple next time. And oh yes, there will be a next time. Super easy, super tasty.
I like to use black caviar lentils instead of most other legumes. They are just kind've awesome.
>>9013098
Go home habib
>>9013123
You first.
>>9013098
Hmm, jerk isn't sweet. Primary flavors are allspice, cumin, coriander, garlic and habanero. You done fucked up and got a mom blog recipe, idiot.
/ck/ approved drinks of this shit? tfw drinking a monster right now
>>9012839
I just take a B Complex and drink a cup of coffee because I'm not retarded.
Keep lighting fire to your money though, everyone find it hilarious.
A lot of the Juice Monsters taste pretty damn great.
>>9012856
>Keep lighting fire to your money though
What? It's like 2$ a can
Radical Sandwich Anarchist
>>9012548
I agree that a sub is a sandwich, and I think ice cream between waffles is a sandwich. But I think an ice cream taco is nothing short of heresy.
True neutral
anything in the left column is a sandwich, the wrap may be disqualified depending on if it's a corn based "bread"

Hello guys :)
If you don't put chocolate on your pizza, you don't know SHIT about food.
I want to start being able to cook for myself but have next to no cooking utensils. What items should I focus on buying at first in order to be able to learn proper cooking techniques? Donn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money at first but as I get better I hope to grow my collection. Also cooking supplies and utensils thread I guess
>>9011500
Just buy an instant pot.
>>9011500
Sauce Pan
Saute Pan
Colldndar
Measuring Cups
Pairing Knife
That should get you going, and you can expand on it as you get more comfortable in the kitchen.
Cast iron pan
Ulu
That is literally all you need, don't listen to the weebs who think you need luxury as-seen-on-TV copper plated pans that cost $1000, or non-serrated knives
Come over lets get drunk and cook some gourmet shit
>>9011189
on my way ;)
In the 850 fixing to fire up the smoker and put beef ribs, a whole chicken, and sweet potatoes on that bitch.
>>9011535
Truss the chicken. When I started doing that with my smoked chicken they come out a lot more moist. No chance of drying out.
I have to admit I've taken a liking to eggs over easy as opposed to sunny side up, how do you like your fried eggs?
I have one question though, is it possible to flip two eggs with a spatula? I've been too scared to do it fearing I will break the yolk somehow, and only have eggs over easy when I'm cooking a single egg
I still make mine the way my mother showed me, I'm not sure what it's called
>heat pan on medium
>butter in the pan
>add eggs and fry for 1-2 minutes until whites are set
>add a splash of water and cover tightly
>steam for another 2 minutes or so until they look like OP pic and yolks are still jiggly/runny
Why not just separate them and flip them individually?
>>9011008
What if you drop one onto the other?
I eat this about once a week, comfortable easy meal, decent protein, tastes right.
Any shitty meals you eat and enjoy regardless?
>>9010760
breaded chicken goujons on a baguette with a tonne of bbq sauce
i'm away to make that for lunch right now in fact
>>9010760
I pretty much do this, but with a thumb of chorizo instead of hotdogs.
Fried onions, peppers, and chorizo; tomato paste and chili powders, butter beans and chicken stock, seasoned with marmite and red vinegar and thickened by smashing some of the beans. Over white rice.
I eat this like at least every two weeks
recipe pls, for dry beans preferably also which variety of bean.
thx
