Got my mother a red Breville Sous Chef Food Processor for $307 (typically 375 to 400).
Did I do good or should I return it for something better?
Thanks.

Tendies? No, they're boneless wings. They're totally different!
>>8301870
They are actually, tendies are more oblong and dont possess a slick surface

Tendies are the tender part of the chicken
Bonesless wings are wing meat, deboned

my mom says our crockpot used to have a pot inside of it but it cracked and broke so she no longer uses it.
now it is just a metal pot with a heater at the bottom and she says if works just the same without the inner pot. just put it on low.
i imagine this isnt the same, but since i dont know how a crock pot really works then i cant say it isnt. should i just cook it the way she says?

The inner pot is so you can take it out and clean it separately

How do I make my chicken taste like a real food and not like rubber?
Also post best marinades
>>8300750
Get non-shit chicken.
Cook it before you eat it.
>>8300750
Brine overnight. Bake until internal temperature ~165F
Whats /ck/ opinion on Golden Corral?
>>8300694
It's awful. The lowest-tier reheated canned shitfood combined with the same sort of people you'd see at a walmart. Awful food. Awful atmosphere.
>>8300694
Expensive and shitty. Worst bang for your buck for any buffet I've had hands down.
Best pickled egg recipe?
This is $4 for half a dozen and they are not that good. I can get all the eggs i want free or near free. I have made pic related 1 time and really liked it. Heres a shitty how to vid.

This recipe is fine, just make your own pickling spices though. It pretties up the jar to have a whole bay leaf, whole garlic, and all. Just simmer a good while in the vinegar. I like a white wine vinegar or apple cider better than basic white.
Know what I like get more family praise with? Pickled mushrooms. Just pour the hot brine over the guys in the jar.
>>8300294
BEST PICKLED EGG RECIPE WOULD BE TO SKIP IT AND EAT IT LITERALLY ANY OTHER WAY YOU DONKEY
Share your breakfast.
I will start with tasty America breakfast of egg, potatoes and pork slices
>>8300284
I don't know why, but I fucking LOVE undercooked tater tots. And those eggs look perfect. I basically take my eggs off when they start to curdle like that. My parents always basically made chopped-up omelettes.
>>8300284
WAY TOO MUCH FOOD ANON. I HOPE YOU SPLIT THIS IN TWO AT LEAST.
>catsup
The ultimate meme food, theres just nothing good about it
Is it normal to eat pickled jalapenos out of the jar for a snack?
I can't stop. I'm fucking addicted.
Will I be ok?
>>8300176
No you won't, stop everything you're doing and go see a doctor, chances are you'll need your stomach pumped, with any luck you won't be so far gone that they can't save you.
Enjoy your spicy shits

You are dying.
>there are people browsing /ck/ right now who ruin their food by only using their microwave on full power
>>8297998
>using a microwave for the actual cooking process
The glowing radioactive death that awaits you will be entirely deserved.
It's literally just for lightly reheating leftovers.
masterrace
>>8297998
MAKING FOOD USING ONLY THE MICROWAVE IS SIMPLY FOOLISH.
Be honest with me, /ck/.
When is the last time you treated yourself by having breakfast for dinner?
I had bacon and eggs for dinner last night because I was lazy and they were on the verge of going bad in the fridge
I know people eat fried chicken and waffles but they don't eat it for breakfast do they?
>>8297949
You'd be surprised. Fried chicken is available around the clock down here in the South
This morning
How do you make a perfect french toast? I've tried all kinds of recipes, but never goes past okay. Granted, I've never tasted an authentic french toast in the first place. Is it true the bread has to be french bread? I usually use regular white bread because no one sell french bread here.
>>8297123
Challa bread is king
Challah bread, double cream, stale the slices overnight, soak them long and hard before cooking. At least 30 seconds per side. If you can make your own challah, that's ideal. It's not difficult, and you can mix in shit like raisins and walnuts for extra deliciousness.
Serve with butter and syrup, or heated then cooled strawberries topped with whipped cream.
Remember, this is a decadent meal, not to be eaten every day, so go a little nuts.

came here to say this
splash of vanilla and some heavy cream in the wash
Red pill me on the Keto diet. It sounds unhealthy and impractical.
>Fiber?
it's a meme to get you to consume less calories. just watch your calorie intake instead
Just count calories for losing weight. Ketosis will fucking wreck your insides. And the meat shits are nothing to scoff at.
There's a mounting pile of evidence that it works really well for weight loss and is possibly health for you in other ways.
That said, it's restrictive as fuck, with a long list of foods you can't eat, a very low tolerance for messing up, and thus requires you to put a lot of planning and discipline into your daily eating.
Personally I say not worth it. You can lose weight eating normal food if you watch the calories and practice moderation with regards to macros (don't go all protein/all carb/all fat/etc.. just get a variety of everything). Takes time but it works.
