I've done it
Horseshoe fries

And now you have just realised that unless you shallow fried several for a 'haute cuisine' type meal, the wastage is unacceptable.
Ammirite?
In the 90's, Burger King was about as popular as McDonalds, on television you would see Burger King commercials advertised just as much and their kid's meals advertised just as much for the Kids and Big Kids meals
You may remember some notable Burger King kid's meal promotions such as Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z
These days however, if you watch family or kid's channels on tv all you see is McDonald's advertising and you would never know about Burger King, you would never know these days what promotions Burger King has for their kid's meals and Big Kids' meals unless you actually went to the restaurant and saw, however you always are informed of McDonalds new promotions and everything seems to go to them
So what happened? I remember as a kid getting Burger King a lot, and the birthday parties with crowns handed out for you to wear
McD is for kids, BK is for cool adults.
Mcdonalds wastes money on advertising and therefore has jack up the prices of their products
BK just chills in the background saving billions of dollars and selling the product to smart people
Burger King just makes a shittier burger and the only way they stay relevant these days is through gimmicks such as Chicken Fries (GOAT to be fair) and Mac and Cheetos
Hi al/ck/oholics!
Im soon going to Estonia, where alcohol is really cheap compared to prices in Finland. Im planning to buy some new gin I haven't tasted. Which one of these are better?
>horse guard
>gibson's
Bumb:D
80% Viru Valge you homo.
Why do some people seem to like overcooking their burgers? A good home made burger should have a slight bit of pink/red inside
Also reminder, if you don't brown your hamburger buns in some way McDonalds already makes a better burger than you
Also, favorite shit on a burger? Pickle or no?
>>8302566
Overcooked burger tastes better simple as that
I put cheddar and honey mustard and mayo
but how much pink is too pink?
got a mcdonald's burger when the toaster was getting cleaned and beside being slightly colder the bun is better raw dawged
Unless you grind your own meat seems like shitty idea to eat a raw burger.
First I decided to take the bacon fat and keep it in the pan when I made it. Then when I poured in the butter and cheese mix I immediately poured in the milk which made it soup-y. I tried to fix it by pouring some mozzarella cheese.
I fucked up. The bacon fat makes it taste disgusting.
All you needed to do was make a roux from the bacon fat with some flour, add some milk and the cheese and you could have just had actual mac and cheese without needing the Kraft stuff.
>>8302476
Well now it tastes disgusting.
>>8302484
Are you really this dense?
"Hey, that was a great dish. May I have the recipe?"
>"Oh, sorry anon, it's a secret! XD"
Why do people still do this? What purpose does it serve?
>2016
>Asking for recipe
>Not being able to figure out what's in something by tasting/looking at it
>>8302467
>May I
You don't deserve the recipe for being such a hooty tooty faggot.
Because the secret ingredient is always menstrual blood, part of an occult ritual.
Are sushi restaurants in other countries, besides Japan obviously, owned by Japanese people? How often are these restaurant's sushi the same standard as one you would find in a Japanese city? I feel like I've been duped in believing I was eating authentic sushi, and not Zhou's hibachi style California roll.

>I feel like I've been duped in believing I was eating authentic sushi
If you're concerned about "authentic" then stick to Nigiri and Sashimi. Can't fake that.
Does it really fucking matter so long as you enjoy what you're eating?
The meat and egg look a bit under cooked for my taste.
That mashed potato looks nice tho.
Can you eat one of these or no
>>8302294
It would be extremely painful
>>8302294
it smells like rotting meat, why would you want to?
>>8302294
when I was a kid I was fascinated with these guys. Always thought about falling into its mouth and getting slowly dissolved. Kinda thankful that didn't develop into a vore fetish or I'd have one more perversion to worry about
Hey /ck/
How 'low and slow' can I actually cook a turkey?
Can I put it in at 250 for say, 8 hours?
Does that work?
What's resonable?
Don't low and slow a whole turkey. It's better to do that with the individual parts, namely the breasts and thighs.
I wouldn't go any lower than 300, otherwise the outer parts will overcook before the inner parts are done.
>>8302275
I've cooked huge turkeys at 180F for the last 5 years or so. It works great.
There are tons of videos and recipes out there for low and slow turkey.
>try to make a pizza from scratch
>its total shit
>end up baking a frozen instead
please put me out of my misery
please put me out of my misery
please put me out of my misery

Not OP. Are the premade crusts at grocery stores any good? I can not make a good dough.
>>8301727
It's ok, I used to suck at making homemade pizza from scratch
Then I found this video from a youtuber called jack that really shows the best way to do pizza! Enjoy!
I'm having a friend over and he's a huge sake fan. Do you guy shave any recommendations on good sake ?
>>8301556
No I just trim my beard
Black and Gold is easy to find and pretty well-liked.
Ty-ku if he is a hipster who drinks it to be cool.
For something higher-end, try Ginga Shizuku (Divine Droplets)
I actually moved to one of these a couple years back and haven't looked back.
Rate my dinner /ck/

Asparagus is the best vegetable

How to clean manual coffee grinder after using it for flavored coffee beans? I'm not sure don't want to rekt my palate on the new beans I got. It was just one bag I swear, didn't think of the repercussions.
>>8301057
The same way you do for any beans, dummy
>>8301084
I don't for other beans.
I'm looking to get a coffee bar but I don't know much about the products. I've gone from using your average drip coffee maker, to French press, and currently an espresso machine. My machine is pretty old now and it was a cheap one to begin with. I've grown accustomed to making myself a fancy coffee drink each morning though, so I can't go back to French press. Coffee bars look neat and I'd like to get a decent one, would you recommend any /ck/? Pic related keeps coming up in searches, is it a good one?
I recently searched and found the best one for the price is the ninja coffee bar. Under 200 and makes some of the best coffee I've ever had..worth looking up.
For me it is The McNinja, the best all-in-one coffee maker.
>>8301047
Don't waste your time, unless you have at least $300 to spend on a grinder.
