>order a medium steak
>it comes out rare
Fucking tasted like wet dog. It took all I had not to gag after every bite.
>>8304807
Send it back you fucking autist
>>8304807
>Not enjoying a rare steak.
>Literally making the cook burn the meat.
>Not knowing how to enjoy the coppery finish a rare cut of fine meat has.
>>8304807
In times like this I wish there was flags. Those rares on the OP aren't even rare, they are just perfect.
Going to get a Mcdonalds breakfast (UK) in a few hours, lads. What should I get?
>>8304761
lol
>>8304761
Yo what the fuck? We don't have bagel sandwiches in the US. Fuck you.
>>8304761
Double sausage and egg muffin. The only one worth having.
Guys, I bought some steak this weekend and left it out in the bottom of my bag. Today will be the 4th night it has been lying out at room temperature... it's dry and cold (heat on) where I live. I planned to cook it on the pan... is it ruined now?
CAN I STILL EAT THIS STEAK SAFELY IF COOKED?
You essentially dry aged it, OP. Expensive steakhouses do this to enhance the flavor. You will be fine.
>>8304454
If it doesn't smell rotten or look completely grey you could nuke it to leather texture
I once ate pork in that condition and fed it to a friend and we where fine
>>8304454
Is this bait?
4 days at room temperature? No. Throw it out, dingus.
Who too lazy to cook or go out for Thanksgiving?
>>8304389
lazy yes
desperate no
I'm going super simple, it's gonna be me mostly so I'm not entertaining. Low effort, good reward
>>8304433
what are you making anon? I just found out I'm gonna be alone for thanksgiving so I've been brainstorming a nice meal to make for myself tomorrow
right now I'm thinking a chicken mushroom white wine cobbler sort of thing
>yfw you realize veganism is a privilege of the first world.
>yfw you realize cruelty is a necessity for survival.
>>8304304
Then why is it practiced in India?
>>8304310
Religious reasons. Move along.

Then it isn't privileged you retard
Everyone says that once you start eating healthy fast food will be disgusting to you.
Yet I started cooking myself, with fresh ingredients, avoided all sweets and snacks, soda and only ate at proper restauraunts.
After months of this I went to McDonald's when nothing else was open. And it was delicious.
What's up with that?
I do still enjoy BK & MCD but I always feel a bit sick afterwards. Nothing I feel with most non fast food meals.
I think your last thread was deleted because mods thought it belonged to /fit/, which I disagree with.
>Everyone says that once you start eating healthy fast food will be disgusting to you.
Nah. Some people will need a lot of denial and lies like this to maintain a diet. I see this among vegans for example, "wow this really tastes like meat !" Just stick to your own feelings and experience and you're golden.
former fatty here
while im now an actual human weight, theres nothing that really tingles the tastebuds like fast food
people just mean that it makes you feel gross afterward, i personally usually get bowel troubles, but have felt stomach pain, bloating and and general lethargy after eating fast food nowadays
I made some pancakes
but I have no one else to share them with
>>8303714
what about the cat?
Your mug has seen some shit.
what's your recipe?
i didnt get stuffing when i went shopping, any basic recipes for it?
>>8303516
How do you "get" stuffing at the grocery? I've literally never heard of that. I always make it.
Saute some celery and onions in butter until soft. Add mushrooms a few minutes before done. Add chopped fresh sage, thyme and rosemary at end along with cayenne if you want a bit of heat. Add day old bread cubes, mix and moisten with chicken stock. Not too moist, you don't want it soggy. Add some salt and pepper. Add meat of choice. I use a couple pints of oysters with the licquor. Browned sausage works well too. Put in greased oven safe dish and cover. Bake in oven @ 375F. for 45 minutes. Remove cover last 15 minutes. Savory and easy.
I don't have half of those ingredients
>>8303648
Better return to the grocery to "get" your stuffing, whatever that means.
Anybody else here Rally's/Checkers? Ever since I was a kid it was my favorite burger place, burgers better than McDs and probably the best french fries in fast food
I like Rally's but why are they always located on the outskirts of ghettos
>>8302322
Idk I have a couple around me
>>8302283
Checkers' fries are god tier, and you can't beat that $2 chicken bites and fries box
What do i do with these?
>>8302081
Chicken piccata, lox on a bagel, the list goes on...
Have you tried using the search engine google?
>>8302081
Theyre good on toast/crackers with sardines
Why must I be a millionaire to afford this? Is there anywhere I can buy it for a more reasonable price?
>wanting to eat beef jerky
that shit is disgusting
and if you want it so bad be a man and make it yourself from scratch
now fuck off
make it yourself
>>8301508
This, it's surprisingly easy and you can experiment with different spices and marinades. Easy guides if you google them
Uh.. they're fuckin' crackers.
>>8301499
YEAH?? SO????
It's not even good crackers, and that's a Sysco brand (I looked it up) so they're free to call it whatever they want. They can be as goofy as they want, because at the end of the day it's just plain old saltines and nobody cares where it came from or who made them because every brand tastes the same.
>>8301557
That's not a saltine that's a captains wafer
/ck/ BTFO
>>8300471
big macs are the shit yo
>>8300471
So I'm assuming Steve Jobs ate cancer and aids.
Can't say I blame him. Solid lunch right there.
What was the worst food related experience you've ever had?
ONE TIME I WENT TO A DINER AND ORDERED A SANDWICH AND THEY BROUGHT ME POTATO SOUP. I WAS UPSET BECAUSE I REALLY WANTED THE SANDWICH SO I SLAMMED THE BOWL ON THE COUNTER AND WALKED OUT IN A HUFF.
>>8298809
i drank a glass of expired milk once when i was hammered and spent the next few hours throwing up and shitting until i passed out on the bathroom floor with shit not wiped off my ass
>>8298809

I mixed a gallon of pasteurized cider with 6 grams of yeast. It's been fermenting for two weeks. It's very slow, now, but the percolator produces a small bubble every minute or so.
So, what's the next step?
>>8298370
I'm not 100% but isn't it supposed to be non pasteurized cider?
>>8298391
It is but you put a live culture in anything with sugar and something alcoholic's going to come out of it
OP, rack it and stick it in the fridge to shock the leftover yeast, otherwise your bottles might burst
>>8298370
Bottle. The worst that will happen is you'll end up with a bubbly funished product, which is it's own style.
