I like both. Waffles are better with just syrup and butter I think, but pancakes carry fillings like berries, fruit or chocolate better. Both are great!

I didn't use them much until about two years ago. That was because none of my local markets carried them. Now they're stocked all the time and I use them often. I use them in soups, stews, and my personal favorite: a big tray of oven-roasted root veggies.
