So yesterday I made a smoothie, it contained blueberries, rasberries, strawberries and this last ingredient I do not know the name of.

It is a very spicy thing that looks a lot like a potato. It's originates from Thailand.

Please help me figure out the name of this mysterious spicy potato.

Will give P90 Asiimov to whoever gets me the right answer.

Not commonly used in Thailand. Galangal would be far more likely.
