How do i network? How do i make friends? Im in university, and i tried joining a frat but they are too "suh bruh" for me. This is my second year and i have literally no friends. Also, i never lived jn the dorms. So, how are some ways to meet ppl and make friends in a non-forced manner?
Also, this is for me to network and hopefully find jobs in the future, and not be a complete autist.
Can't kick it with the bros, anime club is the perfect place for you
>>1444434
You have to suck it up and and befriend the "suh bruh"s. Everyone is fair game when it comes to networking.
Find clubs of relevant interest and start attending. They usually have more then club meetings events/meetups whatnot that are great for meeting like-minded people.
Keep showing up. Become a regular. Be nice. You'll be in.

Condense to 1 page
If you're going to keep the "interests" section, also add that you like browsing 4chan and playing video games. Or remove it like any grown adult would.
>>1444365
>optimised
Come on man, it even corrected it for you.
Might want to shorten down to one page. Cut down the old/irrelevant jobs.

What's the polite way to say: I found another job, give me an offer with more money or else?
I'm currently in a shitty intern position, and my boss is in the process of offering me a permanent position for a really shitty pay. I've been interviewing elsewhere and more or less got another job (but it's really far and shitty in its own way). I want to tell my current boss that I have another job offer and ask him to try and match the pay of it for the position he's going to offer me. How do I go about that in a sensitive manner/what do I say?
I'm thinking of telling him about the other job offer before he offers me the job so I can premptively put a stop to him thinking he can continue paying me shit. Not sure what exactly to say though..
Any advice would be appreciated. And I know that I'm playing a gamble since it's just two job offers and nothing is in writing and this could backfire.
When you get the a firm job offer . Tell them to give you 1 week to mull it over.
The the next day talk to your current boss.
>>1444232
Quit like normal. Politely in writing say fuckit, im out. If they like u they'll offer more. If not. Piss on em.
Asl yourself this. Does either of the companies offer any future in the long run. Promotions are earned with time, so go with the most promising one
need some economical advice.
What do you do if I am offering a working water filter to a tribe and they are unwilling to accept it due to destroying their heritage and destroying they're elders traditions while not being able to teach the young the traditions they've followed. Things like girls gathering water for men etc. Elders having nothing to do.
I want them to accept it because it'd be good for them, all the other tribes accepted it. Why is this one so different? They were offended when I offered.
>>1444225
They chose to be inconsequential and unwilling to profit from an objective progress.
Let them wither and die.
I'll the oldest tribe member. Continue until they take your filter.

Just dive the fuck in and expect to lose some money, the losses motivate you to study and thus make you better.
Or you just get really lucky for no reason and make a killing.

Guten Tag /biz/.
I am looking at moving to Germany and working over there, hopefully in the Logistics/Supply Chain realm.
I'm currently in the process of trying to learn the language and am hoping some German bros could direct me to some forums or message boards concerned with Business, if not Logistics.
All about submerging myself into the language and learning about the dynamics of business in German while I'm at it!
Cheers everyone!
>>1444149
Which part of logistics?
>>1444163
Probably transportation. So a company like DHL would suit, although I'm interested in waste management as well so a gig with Remondis would be sweet as well.
>>1444149
You should go to /int/

What's stopping someone from racking up a bunch of debt, never paying it back, then moving to a poor shithole where everything is cheap for an easy retirement?
>>1444108
Doesn't really seem worth it. How much money do you have access to spend? I'm guessing not enough to live out the next 40 years.
Losing your citizenship.
How much is that worth? People pay 100's of K for Greencard.
Also moving that much money around in a short time raises questions.
Steal a boat, load it with expensive metals and overcolcked gaming rigs, and as many American dollars as you can withdraw without raising suspicion. Sail to Vietnam, unload to your new seafront house and then exchange the boat with a local fisherman for his daughter.
You're not getting enough to retire in one go (basically what this >>1444132 said).
It would have to be a place where there are no extradition treaties (since you commit fraud).
It would have to be a place where there is no enforcement for foreign civil claims.
But it would also have to be a place with little or no domestic justice system, because what's stopping determined creditors from filing local suits?
You'd have to go completely dark. No credit cards, different identity, no social media, etc.
It's possible, but it doesn't seem worth it. Especially since the above criteria pretty much mean you'll end up in some third world shithole.
Is it okay to quit a shitty job by just not coming in without saying anything ? Im just not liking it and there's a better job I can start almost immediately.
Sure as long as you don't include it in your resume
tried that once.. you would get calls from your employer tho.. told him i didnt want the job anymore.. they mailed me a contract that i should sign to officialy resign which i signed and sent back to them.
>>1444040
Of course, that's a given
But should I really just stop coming in? I feel like I'm letting people down, I just really don't want to work there anymore though
