>searching for a job
>made a list of 200 companies in the industry I want to get into
>mailmerged them into my resume
>printed them all off
>mailmerged and printed labels for the envelopes
>doing follow up phone calls
>lots of letters haven't even turned up after 2-3 weeks
>finally reach a company who has received one
>they say the letter inside the envelope was addressed to a different company
>they are salty about it

Goddamn it.

I thought I was being so methodical about how I was labeling the envelopes but now I'm wondering how many have the wrong companies letter inside them.

Not that I would want to work somewhere that was that salty about receiving the wrong letter, but still.

Individualize resumes and cover letter for each company you apply. All of that was worthless because HR wants to know you put a little bit of effort into researching their company and understanding the position you want. I know from personal experience that they hate boiler plate resume drops more than anything.

The reason for the need to always grow is because of ponzi schemes like pensions, and pensions, also pensions. No, really, pensions, social security, anything outside of what the american constitution (I'm a eurofag) specifically outlines, we scrap. No totalitarianism needed, only a vastly decreased state (and the end of guaranteed government handouts or schemes that pay out more than they take in).

Also, we find all of the jews and blow their brains out in the street.

No totalitarianism here, this will happen naturally in the west anyway. Remember, the pendulum is swinging and the internationalist zionists have spent the last 70 years pushing it away from them. It's turning back, and will smack them in their ugly jew noses within our lifetime.

We already have that. It grows, then it comes down, then it grows.

How to get into MIT? Haven't gone to college yet and my GPA is utter shit. I really really want to get in for my first two years, but I'm willing to hold off and do as best as I can in a community college. But what can I do to maximize chances if I were to try to join right off the bat? Community service, projects..?

i doubt you have a chance unless you go to a less competitive 4 year college, do very well, and then try to transfer.

are you stupid or something? how do you have an utter shit gpa in highschool?

The last time I took my car in for service, the tech sad the cap on my brake fluid looked swollen and when he looked into the trough he said there was a red fluid in the brake lines that was not brake fluid.

Is this something I should be concerned about or is the tech an idiot?

Do yourself a favor and get robinhood. From there you can buy vanguard ETFs such as VOO and others to track the s&p, bonds, foreign markets ect. You will also have the option for commission free stock trading if you ever want individual stocks.

Right that would give me more autonomy with my fund, but I dont know much about any markets, but can see something like an industry such as electric or oil that will work. What Im trying to say is it a safe investement (using safe loosely) and also thank you for responding

I want to start making money from AdSense throught a website but im too paranoid that I end up writing something against the TOS. I have a youtube channel which is making me some bucks, but I want to expand and start a new one focused on viral clickbait tier shit but im too paranoid to ruin my channel throught this since you can only have one AdSense account and if I fuck up with the blog/new channel it would fuck the other channel as well.

AdSense is know to be autistic about their TOS:

https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20140528/15390227381/google-adsenses-idiotic-morality-policing-forces-us-to-remove-ads-news-stories.shtml

Im just too scared to talk about anything that is sightly controversial, and non controversial shit doesnt get any clicks.

For example, if I posted this pic (of the girl) talking about fitness related, or whatever, I would be paranoid that I get banned due "suggestive sexual content" or some shit.

best programming language for a beginner to programming?

i'm working a pretty standard salaried job right now and i want to move into something more lucrative

which language can i learn quick enough to make a significant improvement in my earnings and which one is the better choice long term for someone who has no experience in programming?
4 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Javascript is a fucking retarded language in terms of being a language but it's easy to pick up, you can do frontend work in it (Angular, React) and also write server-side apps in it (Node.js). It's also the most hyped and popular language in the startup/Silicon Valley world right now.

If you have Firefox or Chrome, you already have a Javascript REPL you can play with... open the developer tools, so to the console, type: alert("hello world")
>>
I'm interested in this too.
>>
>>1443504
>best programming language for a beginner to programming?

Ruby or Python.

>which language can i learn quick enough to make a significant improvement in my earnings

I don't think there is one. Maybe if you were already a visual designer you could learn front-end skills and become a JS artisan. But unless you already have such compatible skills, it will take you a while to learn enough to be worth hiring.

The entry-level developer market is incredibly flooded due to the "we need more devs" meme. What most companies really need are experienced software engineers who can build scale-able solutions and pick the appropriate technology to solve a given problem. Code camp shills like to reframe it into "learn RoR in 10 weeks and get a 100k job".

Don't fall for the shills. There is no quick ticket to riches. But if you are really interested in a career switch and are willing to spend the time, start here:
