It's only been around 6 years for me, and I get where you're coming from. What's worse is the creeping realization that it was all your doing from the start, and that every single lesson your childish weeaboo cartoons tried to teach you about friendship and enduring to grow was completely lost on you.

I run a small channel and you can see even in my stats that its blocked from getting any views.
Over 1000 of my videos are all restricted.
I get literally no new users seeing my content and im getting no subs.
Yet the time people are spending watching my channel in total and how long each person is watching a video has grown tremendously.

So im making better and better content but its all fucking gated out from the search engine and everything else. I even had a viral hit spike in there.
