>Standard production at Carl Gustafs continued until 1925, but approximately 18,000 m/96 rifles were manufactured by Husqvarna Vapenfabriks AB during World War II for civilian marksmanship training.[9]

Mauser produced 40,000 m/1896 long rifles between 1895 and 1900, Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori 475,000 m/1896 between 1896 and 1932 and Husqvarna Vapenfabriks AB 20,000 m/1896 between 1942 and 1944. Giving a total of 535,000 m/96 long rifles.[10]

found a lady selling her husband's, I don't think she knows the difference because she's selling it for $400 which is a good deal regardless of manufacturer. How much more is Husqvarna worth?

not very effective in Afghaniland or Iraq, unless you've found an enemy tunnel system.
If we every got involved in a war in a jungle or heavily wooded area again, the it would be very useful for establishing helicopter LZs.

Anyone else injure themselves in order to get a semi automatic?
I took a hammer to my shoulder and shattered some bones, fucked up the strength in that arm and the doctor says it won't ever fully recover, but it was totally worth it.

The fuck?

Where the fuck do you live?

I literally made a semi automatic gun for shits and giggles using $300 of tools in my garage, and $750 of parts

What would be best for a frost rifle: an M48 muser or an ex-dragoon mosin? The mosin has much cheaper ammo, but the m48 seems like a better gun.

Do US or other Allied Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan patrol with Pack Mules or other carrying beasts?

Armies throughout history have been using pack animals to increase the amount of weight they can bring / decrease the amount of weight the soldier must carry.

so Ive been looking around for sights and I've been seeing a lot of ones like these but almost all of them are like 40 or 50 bucks. didnt really want to buy something thats gonna break the second time I used it. Found pick related and its 250 bucks, anyone have any experience with them? or am I just paying 250 dollars for a 50 dollar sight? I am newguns pls no be mean.

I know a ton of guys in the USPSA/3-gun have used the C-more and it's one of the most used 'reflex' sights like that. Handgun recoil will be more intense than a rifle, so I'd imagine that that should stand up to it.

Never heard of the one you're showing though.
>>
>>34670896
You would need to buy a shroud for it, basically a hard cover so if you drop or knock your rifle you don't break the sight. At 250$ you could just get a sparc2 or vortex for like 180-200
>>
>>34670916
its for a A-R-1-5.
looked at C-More and they dont have any like this one and the website is old I dont like that

I'm stuck between two carry options folks let me know what you guys think is the better of the two or alternatives I haven't considered ...
>>
First Option:

Main carry :

>H&K USP 9 Fullsize

Pros:
>durable
>reliable
>I like either lem or the stock da/sa
>very comfy controls
>can add factory match components to improve trigger
>aesthetic as fuck
>satisfies inner wehraboo

Cons:
>less rounds than other guns its size
>no light rail
>I don't love the trigger
>thicker slide than other options

If I went this route the gun I'd take on my commute would be a p2000sk for reasons that should be self evident

Also forgot to mention I'd carry the USP in a ctac and keep the 2ksk in a comptac paddle holster but I'd only put it in if I stopped somewhere after work

Not yet, but it only seems like it'd be easier than cc in everyday clothes.

I think the hardest part would be getting a worthy firearm and holster. I'd love to get a black leather shoulder rig to go with my BHP. Anything less seems cheap for a formal occasion

Don't do it man. Get an imported AK. The metallurgy on these rifles is shit and will not last nearly as long as a proper rifle.

Century Arms a shit.
It's fine if you just want an AK as a conversation piece, but if you want something actually decent, you're gonna have to cough up some more cash. You youngfags don't know how different things used to be. Decent AKs for 300 bucks and basic AR-15s were fancy richfag rifles.
