Anyone else injure themselves in order to get a semi automatic?
I took a hammer to my shoulder and shattered some bones, fucked up the strength in that arm and the doctor says it won't ever fully recover, but it was totally worth it.
The fuck?
Where the fuck do you live?
I literally made a semi automatic gun for shits and giggles using $300 of tools in my garage, and $750 of parts

What ?
Best I could do was some PCP piping , BBQ igniter and super glue to make myself a marble or potato gun

A farmer in NSW shot a man who tried to break into his property last month and escaped charges

Funny how we've heard almost nothing about this in the media

Why go through all this?
Seriously, wear a dress, get an American to fuck your boipussi, move, enjoy some rights.
How did shattering your shoulder grant you the ability to own a semi auto?

Back in '96 our government voted in a bunch of super restrictive gun laws in response to a massacre In Tasmania. These laws included (but are not limited to) a blanket ban on all semiautomatic firearms for civilians, the removal of 'self defence' as a legally valid reason to own a firearm and a whole mess of restrictions on how, when and what guns the average Australian owns.
This was followed by a 'gun buyback' scheme where could turn in their now illegal firearms for some government cash. The guns turned in for the buyback were all crushed, melted or otherwise destroyed.
Getting my first rifle in a couple of weeks lads. Keen as fuck. Thinking about going for cat H soon too.
Where do you guys shoot and hang out? Anyone set up a makeshift range in a state forest?
Also how does one start hunting? Where can I go to learn what I'd need to know before going out?

>a blanket ban on all semiautomatic firearms for civilians
Feral pest controllers and primary producers can own semi-autos including ARs
>>34672155
So if you say just pest control on the weekend for farmers for free you can own a semi auto?
>>34672175
No, you have to have a registered pest control business IIRC

Does it have to earn money/be your primary source of income?

noice lad
Bought a house earlier this month so I'll be getting my safe (and first, second, third... rifles) later in the year after I move in
Cat H is fun too, had a go a couple years ago but didn't have time to go through the whole club membership/licencing process. Really want to start on that but I'll be happy for a while with a couple rifles and a shotty for the clays.
For hunting I was planning on joining a club so I could get out on their pest shoots and stuff - might be worth checking out if there's any around your way?
Federation was a mistake.

this would cause civil war in Murica

What state are you in? I sometimes just go to state forest and find a good spot far enough away from roads. What are you getting too?
