So I found a cartridge in the desert (pictured next to a .223). Im fairly sure its a .30-06, likely government/military manufacture because the headstamp says DEN and 43 (im assuming it means it was made in Denver in 1943). Am I right? I doubt myself because the bullet is a soft point and I can't find anything suggesting the government produced soft point ammo during WWII. Thoughts?

They need to clean their guns more. Hell I'd do it if they paid me in ammo. The MG42 jammed continuously but they were cool about it and let me shoot the RPD instead. Shot the uzi, m4, m60, mg42, pkm, rpd, m249, Thompson, 500 mag, 1919 and rpk.

I went there about a year ago. I shot 20 rounds of m60 and 40 rounds mg42 and it cost quite a bit. You will be treated like you have never seen a gun in your life, and they will actually put the full auto gun in a mount on the shooting bench. It's a very vanilla thing when it comes to shooting, but it's pretty fun shooting full fun guns

So legally do you have to be a cuck while carrying? Someone hit on my girlfriend at the bar once and I got in his face and calmly (but I was mouthy) told him to leave us the fuck alone. I'm never going to throw the first punch obviously but I'm not going to just stand there when someone's doing that shit.
I'm an adult and am never going to start shoving or swinging on a dude for mouthing off but I have approached people before and stuff like that, I don't really have an anger problem.

A friend of a friend has offered to sell me a bnz-42 (Steyr-made) Mauser 98k. He hasn't made a price offer yet and I'm unfamiliar with German guns, so I was wondering what kind of price would be fair.
The wood is good, the parts may or may not have been refinished, and are in good shape, comes with a sling, and the rifling is decent, with a bit of a grimy bore.

Hi /k/ I have a hypothetical scenario, I know we like to talk about using the Gray Man concept in the case of civil war/unrest and what have you. I have no arguments with grey man, its a great idea to keep a low profile.
What i want to talk about is the idea of high profile. The scenario im thinking of is some kind of invasion by a foreign country (yeah yeah i know it'll never happen but humor me).
Say Russia or China invades mainland America, the whole 9 yards like pic related.
Would Veterans and such just throw their cammies on to join the fight? Would the mall ninjas do the same? Would the concept of gray man not be used as much in such an overt state of war? Keep in mind im talking about the first few days where a lot of fighting would be going on. Anyways Id like to know what you guys think.

If they're in occupied territory they get shot. If they try to go to the front they get shooed away by actual military. Only hope is in the first day(s) of confusion to form some sort of impromptu militia and play dress up. The rest of the time it's sitting in an old building, tree, manhole, etc. in street clothes, take a shot, scoot.
