So I found a cartridge in the desert (pictured next to a .223). Im fairly sure its a .30-06, likely government/military manufacture because the headstamp says DEN and 43 (im assuming it means it was made in Denver in 1943). Am I right? I doubt myself because the bullet is a soft point and I can't find anything suggesting the government produced soft point ammo during WWII. Thoughts?
>>33188653
My guess is a reload.
>>33188653
Unsafe to fire, I can tell you that much.
>>33188711
Hadn't occurred to me. Thanks.
What does /k/ think about these games? also is it true that the ARMA series is used to train soldiers?
>>33188487
i remember we used a version of arma 1 that integrated a full suit of sensors + head visor with the game.
it was fucking retarded.
>>33188514
that sounds fucking badass.
>>33188487
I mean, they slapped poor Tom Clancy's name on it, but it's no Rainbow.
Is .32 ACP an obsolescent cartridge? New blowback pistols seem to be in .380 only.
>>33188295
remember that pistol that MAC did a torture test on and it did perfect? that shit comes in .32
>>33188295
Don't let your memes be memes.
Yes. It will still kill people though.
Holy shit! $2500 has landed in your bank account with a note saying, "For armaments purchases only".
What do you spend the $2500 on?

Neat! I wonder how many of those are floating around the interwebs
>>33188212
I think around 30000. They're fairly rare.
Name ONE advantage 7.62x54R has over .308/7.62 NATO, Slavboos.
Oh wait, YOU CAN'T.
>>33188035
Is there a .308 Nugget?
>>33188035
yeah no shit 54r was popular because it used to be cheap not because it was better than anything else.
7.62x39 is fucking cute holy shit

So anyone ever been to Battlefield Vegas? anyone got some range stories? i'm curious because i'm headin there in a few weeks, I'd like to know what i should expect.
I've been to many ranges and i've shot a fair few guns, just never something full auto.
Pic related, s'what i'm mainly going there to shoot.
>>33187982
That's gotta be osan security forces during an exercise back in the day. I feel your pain.
T. Kunsan 05-06.
They need to clean their guns more. Hell I'd do it if they paid me in ammo. The MG42 jammed continuously but they were cool about it and let me shoot the RPD instead. Shot the uzi, m4, m60, mg42, pkm, rpd, m249, Thompson, 500 mag, 1919 and rpk.
>>33187982
I went there about a year ago. I shot 20 rounds of m60 and 40 rounds mg42 and it cost quite a bit. You will be treated like you have never seen a gun in your life, and they will actually put the full auto gun in a mount on the shooting bench. It's a very vanilla thing when it comes to shooting, but it's pretty fun shooting full fun guns

Someone red pill me on the DSA SA 58, is it worth the price? Any problems with it? Is it a good FAL?
>>33187818
>red pill
Yeah, buy the voyager, you're going to love it DSA produces nothing but quality products friend.
they're decent FALs.
though if you want to buy a complete and new .308 rifle. get an AR10 instead.
>>33187818
I got a voyager, 1k in it so far and no problems. Used both brown bear and German surplus.
I really fucking want a P08 Luger, but I don't wanna shell out my boipucci for the money for a legit one. Is the Mitchell Arms one any good? Or are there any good reproductions?
>>33187813
If you want one you best get that boipussy wet.
>>33187813
I was about to post a thread asking the same question. I guess I'll have to wait until I get a better job before I buy one, but by God, I will own one before I die, and that goes for several other weapons as well
>>33187813
Here in EU real ww2 P08 cost the same as a glock.
So legally do you have to be a cuck while carrying? Someone hit on my girlfriend at the bar once and I got in his face and calmly (but I was mouthy) told him to leave us the fuck alone. I'm never going to throw the first punch obviously but I'm not going to just stand there when someone's doing that shit.
I'm an adult and am never going to start shoving or swinging on a dude for mouthing off but I have approached people before and stuff like that, I don't really have an anger problem.
How do you act? Do you just pull the "whatever man" and walk away or what?
Just because you have a gun on you doesn't mean you have to shoot someone. Use your firsts first pussy. And only use your CC defensively. Brandishing a firearm is a felony.
>>33187733
Just act normal.
>inb4 no one on here knows what "normal" is
>>33187733
You brandish your weapon when you legitimately feel your life is in danger, or when you legitimately feel that drawing your weapon will keep someone, like your girlfriend, from being killed. Keep it holstered otherwise.
The combined might of the axis powers?
Or General Motors, the strongest American general?
I read that as the combined weight of the axis powers vs. GM, in which case I would think GM put out more tonnage

I wish that was a real game on the premise of what you are asking

A friend of a friend has offered to sell me a bnz-42 (Steyr-made) Mauser 98k. He hasn't made a price offer yet and I'm unfamiliar with German guns, so I was wondering what kind of price would be fair.
The wood is good, the parts may or may not have been refinished, and are in good shape, comes with a sling, and the rifling is decent, with a bit of a grimy bore.
>>33187446
Price depends on if numbers match
We really need pictures for shit like this. Do the serial numbers all match? If not, which parts don't match? Was it captured by Russia (marked with an "X" on the receiver ring) It could be worth $400-1400 depending.
>>33187678
I'm not sure, I didn't check when I was inspecting the rifle, I'll send him a text and hopefully get something back soon.
Say, what would be the price if it was all matching vs. some parts non-matching?
Hi /k/ I have a hypothetical scenario, I know we like to talk about using the Gray Man concept in the case of civil war/unrest and what have you. I have no arguments with grey man, its a great idea to keep a low profile.
What i want to talk about is the idea of high profile. The scenario im thinking of is some kind of invasion by a foreign country (yeah yeah i know it'll never happen but humor me).
Say Russia or China invades mainland America, the whole 9 yards like pic related.
Would Veterans and such just throw their cammies on to join the fight? Would the mall ninjas do the same? Would the concept of gray man not be used as much in such an overt state of war? Keep in mind im talking about the first few days where a lot of fighting would be going on. Anyways Id like to know what you guys think.
>>33187243
No. I wouldn't throw my old cammies on because that is not how guerilla warfare is fought. The idea is attack and then blend in with everyone else.
t. Every guerilla warfare fought throughout entire history
>>33187243
>guerrillas drawing attention to themselves
If they're in occupied territory they get shot. If they try to go to the front they get shooed away by actual military. Only hope is in the first day(s) of confusion to form some sort of impromptu militia and play dress up. The rest of the time it's sitting in an old building, tree, manhole, etc. in street clothes, take a shot, scoot.
>>33187243
I'm sure there'd be plenty of people who'd try to fight back openly. Not sure how that would work with military operations...I imagine most would just get in the way and the military would encourage them to not fight.
But a few weeks after in any occupied territories, open fighting and covert resistance would happen.
