Could someone give me a rundown how UK became the no-guns country it is today?

England decided to invade the entire world because why not? But with a change of politics decided this was bad, so they decided guns were all bad also. They then decided to sell all their guns to Nazi Germany, hoping to recover some of the money they invested in them. And then Germany invaded them, and war was seen as extremely bad because England nearly got invaded. Today, England continues the tough gun laws because they know they would be in full civil war since they have given up on making their native population into well informed citizens.

>This basically ended it.

And as unlike the 2nd Amendment we have no legal or constitutional doucument binding it, and the fact this countries never had a gun culture even when it was legal there's been no resistance to change.

UKIP want to reintroduce Handguns but no one really cares.
>>
There are more firearms in the UK held by the populace now than there were prior to 1968, where the gun laws were similar to the ones in red American states.

Since the greatest weapon anyone can have is their body, what are you guys doing to train your physical and mental toughness? Modern operators have to have the stamina of stallions and the strength of demigods. Currently I've been doing THOR III, what are my fellow /k/ommandos doing? Anyone else practicing the UBRR?

https://blog.refactortactical.com/blog/special-forces-pt-test-upper-body-round-robin/

Trying to get ~1300-1400 atm.

I'd love to hear about other routines, currently I'm working on my run so any good endurance run programs would be appreciated.

Sure, i'll take the bait. Real guys who do real shit don't have the body of this dude. This dude is a fat fuck who probably couldn't hike or run more than a few miles. My guess is former LEO right?

Real players in this field have wiry bodies with medium to low bodyfat.

I've been hearing about that on the new OPAT test, it's one of the things that's got me concerned.

Can /k/ recommend a good budget gun?

I'm not dead-set on a Taurus, just using it as an example.

What is your budget like? What do you plan on using it for?

Hi-point guns get shit on by gun snobs, but they're actually pretty decent for the price. You can find them brand new for about $150-$200 or used closer to $100 which isn't a bad deal for a semi-auto pistol. The down sides are that they're bulky and heavy and low capacity for a gun of its size and takedown is a PITA. Last round tends to hang up, but that's fairly easy to remedy with some kitchen table gunsmithing.

If you're willing to spend about $100 more, you can definitely get some much better -- albeit used -- guns that are just all-around better than a Hi-Point.
>>
>>33193060
You can get a Canik TP9 for under $300, they're great for the price.

Help me decide, /k/.

My dream gun is a Walther p99. I would love to buy that gun but I wouldn't carry it for fear of losing it or having it wither away in an evidence locker should I need to use it. It would remain a home-defense/bedside gun and I had planned on picking up some cheap CCW as my carry gun, like a LC9 or something.

Alternatively, a PPS M1 is -almost- as good as the P99, but would fit both rolls, being more concealable and cheaper.

What do? And if I go the first route, should I get the cheap CCW or the P99 first?

Only the Czech Republic is decent in your post.

No, what's the Desert Eagle of guns.

Walking home some guy bumps into me and instantly starts chatting shit to my face about Glocks being the best handguns. I tried to stay calm and explained to him that M1911s were actually the best handguns, but he wouldn't take a hint. He started throwing around words like 'lower capacity' and I lost it. Punched him right in his Glock loving face. I hate Glocks so much.
