Yes. But it fulfills it's roll well enough to exist.

yep. I hate that youtube channel, MAC - however everyone knows the AREX0 thing is the only one to pass his stupid torture test with flying colors, it destroyed the VP9 in that video, for instance. go for it, I bet the capacity kicks ass, I didn't look into it much.

Low recoil means nice follow up shots.

Only problem is penetrating jeans or phones or heavy sweaters...

I'd never use it as a main CC but as a backup piece I would love one.

Yeah, and the guns aren't that much bigger anyway. .380 ammo has gotten a lot better, too since so many people are carrying them now.

I got an LCP II recently, and it's so easy to carry and pretty potent for it's size.

There aren't any that's the point, I'd love for one of those to male one but no one has and probably won't

never post a picture that's more interesting than the question, because I wanna know who that is and i wanna tap that, that being said .32 is not ideal for HD, but it will work nonetheless, low recoil and easy follow up shots are a huge advantage with the round.

>>
>>33191403
That's pretty slick.
>>
>>33188295
Cartridge itself is not obsolete, majority of pistol chambering in it are, because you can easily get .380 in same package and in some cases even 9mm.

But the round excels in modern mouse guns. You still can have backup with semi decent penetration.

I admit I've got a weird thing for .32ACP and collect them.

Lately I've taken an interest in double stack 32s as a carry option. I have a CZ83 which holds 15 and a Beretta 81FS which holds 12. It's not the most potent thing you can shoot out of a handgun but FMJ seems to get deep enough in gel tests to hit something important. The real feature that got me considering this option is they have almost no recoil. Double taps are stupid fast and frequently in the same hole at 7yds. Mag dumps are just as effortless and easy to keep on the head of an IPSC target.

The guns are about the size of a compact 9mm, hold more, and are easier to shoot. The Beretta might end up being my summer carry gun. Good for anyone with strength issues too or people new to handgun shooting.

The caliber also suppresses well, pic related.

I really want to pick up a cheetah for my sister. She's shot my BDA and liked it but she still isn't comfortable with the recoil. It's great excuse to add .32acp to the collection without having some pocket gun that'll never be shot. Plus the 81s have better sights and controls than my BDA and they look so good

Daily reminder that compact double stack 32s are far superior to single stack 9s and revolvers, and they are the compact pistols of the future.

>studies show the average baddie takes 13 shots to go down in a gunfight, rip single stack fags
>accuracy is more important than stoppin powah, and compact 9s are hard to shoot well. 32s are easier to practice with, and far more controllable
>short recoil isn't necessary, making the pistols simpler and cheaper
>new ammo designs are finally capable of meeting FBI standard penetration
>suppresses better, Maxim 32 when
>easier to operate for women and the disabled
Prove me wrong, you can't.

What I'm wondering is why the FBI and every other US agency is packing 9mm/40/45/357s, even though they determined that stopping power doesn't exist. If .32, 5.7, and other smaller calibers can penetrate adequately, why the hell wouldn't they go with that?

Would there be any kind of market for, say, a .32 Magnum cartridge?

Lengthen the case to 19mm, make it rimless instead of semi-rimless, and you'd have something capable of putting out pretty fast moving bullets while still easily working in any blowback action, plus you get better feeding reliability from the fully rimless design. The smaller case diameter would still let you have higher capacity than .38/9mm caliber rounds and the recoil would be lighter. With the extra case length, you could fit heavier bullets with slightly less powder for hard-hitting subsonic loads, too.
>>
>>33201252
>.32 magnum
Have you not heard of 32 mag, and 327 fed mag? If you made a rimless 32 mag then the only problem would be it's excessive length. .32 ACP has a 17 mm case, and getting a 32 to decent velocities with the magnum takes a case 8mms longer.
>>
>>33201780
.32 ACP was made in the days when case pressures were low and mustaches were cool.

With modern metallurgy and current generation of blowback designs, much higher case pressures would be achievable. Pack the damn thing full of fast burning powder and you'd have something pretty potent.

The problem is the rim, though - .32 mag and .327 both are rimmed cartridges, no good for double-stack magazine designs
>>
>>33201863
So you're saying all that's needed is 32+P? I know of only one 32 round that can get 12 inches of penetration reliably, and I don't believe there's much room in the case to shove more powder in- hence why the 32 magnum is much longer. Also, rimlock is easily fixed.
>>
>>33202157
2mm extra case length, strengthened case walls for dat high pressure, and a rimless design would make for a potent little round. That's all I'm sayin', dude.
>>
>>33201863
but two weeks after that hit the shelves idiots all over the country would start showing up in hospitals with pieces of top brake revolvers embedded in their faces.
>>
>>33200598

I'd imagine that it's these two reasons.

One is the fact that it's much easier to acquire pistols in traditional calibers for the cheap.

And barrier penetration.

For us, in our typical defensive scenarios we don't really get into extended gun fights with criminals. At that point we should leave the situation. But generally speaking, for non-LEO, we'll probably shoot some nigger wearing a hoodie who's demanding our money right in front of us.

They on the other hand have to take the offensive on criminals and might have to end up getting in an extended gun fight with dangerous and heavily armed criminals using cover. At that point the smaller caliber will definitely show its drawbacks.
