So a lot of your questions should be covered in the mandatory hunter's safety class you gotta take.

The thing you gotta do immediately after harvesting any animal is you gotta field dress it: that means getting all the vital organs you aren't gonna eat out of the carcass. Then, get the animal to the butcher ASAP. If you're gonna butcher it yourself, you gotta get that animal cool and skinned. Ideally let the meat hang in a cool place for a few days (ideally a few weeks) before you begin cutting it up so the blood can drain.

I don't know how wild hogs are in FL, but parasites die just as well when cooked.

The big thing to do is check your state's hunting laws, and then find land you can legally hunt on. Here in Canuckistan, we have Crown Land, and I assume there's public land you can hunt on down there.

You don't have to gut an animal immediately, but if you have to lug an animal back to your vehicle gutting it makes it significantly lighter. Make sure to drag it, and not carry it over your shoulder, or some jumpy fuckhead might think you're a deer.

Your AR should do the job if you get some decent Hornady soft points, just make sure you breath and take your time with your shots. Buck fever can make an easy shot impossible.

Probably not.

Smallest I'd carry is .32 ACP and even then I'd feel underarmed. .380 ACP, .38 Special, 9mm Makarov, 9mm Parabellum, .357 Mag, .40 S&W, .45 ACP are the kinds of rounds you want a carry gun to be chambered for. If you want to go oddball to feel special maybe 7.62 Tokarev, .327 Fed. mag, .357 Sig, or 10mm Auto.

Shot 500 rounds of wolf through the 92g. Two FTFs. Those wolf steel casings don't slide out of the mags very well.

Also my grip is making my slide stop not work, anyone else have this issue? I don't mind it because then I just learn one remedial action/reload movement instead of trying to reload with the slidestop I just rack it.

If I'm inadvertently disabling my slide stop how do I know when to reload or when to just rap rack? I know there is a slight sound difference when the weapon goes into battery on an empty chamber but thats not a very good technique to rely on impo.

Not quite accurate. The guy trying to get him to do it purposefully told him inaccurate information, saying that you can go down to 16.5 inches on a shotgun before the ATF start caring. The reason for this was because they wanted him to turn informant on the local white supremacist group, and thought the best way to do that was was to fabricate blackmail material an then offer an immunity deal.

Really the only lesson you need to learn from this is that there is true evil in the world.
