Why is the SNP so autistic?
>>33758991
is that for regular (limit) rifles, or FAC? And does it allow you to have a FAC?
Bummer that you need a license at all, but then again - UK is seriously anal about their gun/knife/air laws.
Old thread's nearing it's limit. Long live the new thread.
I made the mistake of firing my godfather's G19 Gen 2 side by side with my G19 Gen 4. The trigger on his gun feels a little shorter in takeup, noticeably lighter, and has a much shorter reset.
Is there anything I can do to my modern Block that makes the trigger that good? I mean apart from investing $150 in some tacticool trigger kit. All I really want to do is shorten the reset to the same point as a Gen 2.
can anyone get an ID on this pistol?
it looks like a BB gun but I want to be sure

P226 maybe
Could be one of sigs pellet pistols, they're almost identical

What's the best medium folder with a reversible pocket clip? Bonus points for dive steel and partial serrations.
Have been using one of these, but it's getting pretty beat. (not my pic)

So much potential.
Why the fuck was Elmer Fudd hunting rabbits with a 12 gauge shotgun? Didn't he want there to be any left of it to make rabbit stew with when he got home? I mean, I know this was the 40s and 50s, so .223 wasn't exactly a popular round back then, but couldn't he have picked *something* a little more appropriate for the type of game he was hunting? I mean, for rabbit, even .22lr will work fine. WTF was he thinking?
How do you know it was 12-gauge? He's shorter than Bugs so we're talking extreme manlet.
>>33745199
A 12 gauge with #6 or #7 shot is perfectly acceptable for small ground game including rabbits.

Draw a loaded gun and shove it it into the face of the british businessrat whose company gets rich on providing the british miliatry with subpar boots. Pull the trigger. Then find a company who have proven itself and its product under fire.and let them get the boot supply contract.
I just got an unroached Gew 88 and I was wondering what these unit markings on the barrel band meant. I can't find anything online.
To Thebes of my ability it reads:
B14RE3200
regiment marks. i can probably decipher them with enough google.
>>33773572
If you can God bless you. I've been trying all afternoon and I can't find anything about my particular markings

I hear it's lower maintenance and cheaper. What do you think?
The paint on the F-35 is basically ingrained into the skin of the jet itself, so unless they completely rebuild all B-2s it won't happen.

Greetings Gentlemen,
I sincerely hope this is the right place for this question. I'm not a regular browser of /k however I am in need of your hivemind. Recently I was just registered as a security guard. I'm told if I get my firearm certification I'll get more money. However I don't have much at the moment. So behold my questions for you:
1. What caliber should I get? I am leaning towards 9mm
2. What make and model?
3. Is it under 500$?
I eagerly await your answers glorious /kommandos
>>33773110
Just get a g19 and call it good. Its what I used when I was a armed guard, never had a problem with it.
>>33773110
1. 9mm
2. Walther Creed
3. Yes, its even under $400 which allows you buy a holster, extra mags, and training ammo.

>>33773110
For the novice without any weird preferences, you can't go wrong with 9mm. Get a double stack 9mm under $500--there are very many to choose from that meet that criteria.
Beyond that, it's all down to ergonomics. Go to a gun store and ask to hold a couple, pick one that feels good in your hand. Smith and Wesson, Ruger, Glock, and plenty of other brands make a handgun within those criteria. Pick the one that feels the best--keep in mind the location of all the controls like mag release, safety, and make sure they're quick and comfortable to reach.
Also, just like any other big ticket item, look up reviews on the Internet before you buy. That will warn you if a particular model has a bad reputation for a certain problem or other.
You can't.
