How much crap do you have strapped to your AR?

pretty bare bones

That's pretty sexy, actually.
Carry handle, rail section and VFG and flashlight.
>>33781177
it is, people get jealous.
Changed sights to mbus pros and got an arisaka scout mount. Other than that everything in pic is the same.

I have a Colt LE6920 with nothing on it besides a sling. "iron" sights only.
>>33780516
I've owned at least 3 AR's but always end up trading them on something else. There is literally no place locally to have fun shooting an ar and fitting at a bench shooting 100 yards is boring.
The AR is annoying to clean too, the ammo isn't particularly powerful and it's relatively expensive.
So, I don't have anything strapped to an AR.

Flashlight

>light
>sling
>optic
In that order. Everything else is extra weight.

I have two ARs. The first is a long-range varmint/target gun. The only things I have on it are a scope, some low-profile express type sights, and a barricade stop. I do not compete with this gun but I have the barricade stop because it helps position the gun in a couple of the stands I hunt from. I can always detach it if it gets in the way. I have the iron sights because it's always nice to have instant access to some close-range sights when you have the scope dialed to high mag and a critter walks by up close. I chose the iron sights specifically because they were very low profile. I hate having a lot of extraneous crap hanging off a gun that I take hunting, that's just asking to get caught/tangled in things.
My other AR is more of a competition/combat setup. It has an ACOG, hand stop, the same express-style backup iron sights as the above, and a combination laser/light.
Both guns have M-lok handguards on them so I can always add extra accessories as needed but I find I very rarely use any.
Both guns have a hollow compartment in the stock equipped with some common spare parts (spare gas rings, firing pin, takedown pins, etc.) I've never needed any of those but it's nice to have on hand just in case.

>one of those shitty, half-assed NUCULURWINTUR builds that can't even manage to get a fixed carry handle upper is the highest form of enlightenment
Irony?
>>33782705
this lol
>>33782705
You've got that backwards, I think. Top of the picture is a small brain, the lowest form of enlightenment.
>>33782789
>He doesn't know what a nuclear winter build is.
>>33782819
Then why don't you explain it to me?
I'm not talking about the build, I'm talking about the "enlightenment" graphic next to it. That picture is saying that a nuclear winter build is the LOWEST form of enlightenment whereas the wood furniture is the highest.

>That picture is saying that a nuclear winter build is the LOWEST form of enlightenment whereas the wood furniture is the highest.
Either newfag, retarded, or both.
>>33782844
>>33782789
You're such a fucking newfag holy shit
>>33782861
>>33782868
Yes, this is my first day here. Why don't you explain it rather than calling me a newfag?
>>33782888
>>33782844
>>33782789
Get fucking good, scrub.
>>33782888
Lurk more. Mojave rifles are quite popular.
>>33782895
>>33782896
Thanks for nothing, I guess? You guys are pretty hostile.
>>33782914
kys
>>33782923
Why so mean, anon?
>>33782896
The problem is that 95% of the people who attempt one are utter proles who cheap out on everything, so they end up with some flat topped, AR barreled abortion that has the ugliest wooden furniture on the market and a UTG carry handle. Then they take a picture of it on an NCR flag and post it with
>LOL PATROLLING THE MOJAVE MAKES YOU WISH FOR A NUCLEAR WINTER!! XD
