So are Intel going to make the same criticism of Nvidia as they did of AMD?

>>61401043
This seems like a mediocre idea. Interconnect bandwidth might actually be an issue between modules with regards to memory access times.
It's going to have to have an internal bandwidth of at least 256GB/s if a module is supposed to have access to the full memory speed available to its neighbour.
>>61401043
No since Tigerlake-SP will also be MCM with EMIB.
nVIdia can't into NUMA anyway.
>>61401135
they got nvlink
amd got IF
intel can fuck itself
since nvidia making volta"the bigger dies" edition something is brewing on both sides
navi is a sure thing 2019, no idea what will happen after volta
as far as I remember early slides volta was supposed to be like navi MCMed
What do you use to mass rename files on Michaelsoft Binbows 10 ?
See this is why I'm reluctant to use that piece of shit operating system. The only thing it excels at is performance. It's featureless, it needs a fuckload of third party software to do basic shit. This "task view" thing they couldn't advertise at all because honestly nobody cares about something that pretty much every other OS worth mentioning had. It's an OS for videogames, that's it.
>>61400835
Yeah but that doesn't answer my question.
I use betterfilerename, but occasionally ant renamer too because it's portable.
Anyone else use forums and notice oldfags complaining about Photobucket lately? Shit is hilarious. I knew it was garbage a decade ago and all these idiots kept using it to the bitter end.
Meanwhile my pics hosted on imgur from 2010 and imageshack from 2007 still work.
>>61400700
>imageshack from 2007 still work.
I highly doubt it because they sent me notification of that they are deleteing all my pics if I am not paying them.
>>61400700
I couldn't believe how many people actually made a free-tier third party image host an essential part of their own business, e.g. an independent online shop/ebay.
This is just stupid and short-sighted imho.
>>61400700
>not using your own colo server or VPS or even cellar-dweller server
Pleb tier.
Is there some big advantage to irssi over WeeChat that I'm missing?

Jesus Christ get a real client already
Better platform support/portability in my experience, irssi is like the vim of IRC clients, you can expect someone to have ported it to your platform already, no matter what it is.

Will the upside down electricity negatively affect my hardware? Is it safe?

All the electrons are going to fall out.
>>61400250
It might be OK if you are able to put the rest of the hardware in upside down as well. This way it won't waste any energy by needing to flip the electricity right side up again when it goes to your components.
Just move to Australia.

I have Windows 10 LTSB and it keeps choking on this update. Even did the "manual install" that still requires you to restart and upon restarting it says "couldn't complete updates, undoing changes"
The fuck do I do now, my boot time is now 10 minutes because of this shit

Probably fake since it would be the first time Intel hasn't released new iGPU name. Unless they just gave up improving their iGPU.
For someone who is still using a 2500K at 4.2ghz, Will coffee lake be the one to upgrade to? or should I just wait for 10nm next year?
>>61400264
I also have a 2500k and I feel like this thing is starting to slow down my gaming, I'm going to hold onto it for a year, personally.
I've tried to look for solutions to this issue and I can't find much, so I might as well ask here. Anyone know what could cause such ridiculous fluctuations on the framerate? This is literally like a hickup every second, but it's so smooth it looks like this game (and some others) pause slightly then go on. What's going on /g/?
Almost a quint post.

If you don't miss the days of add in cards, you have no heart, but if you want them back, you have no brain.
>>61399954
I don't miss them because they're still here..?
>>61399960
I mean like where everything was it's own card. Serial, sound, Ethernet, usb, everything.
I also miss the excitement of port changes like when you would get a VLB card and start testing the differences or moving from PCI to AGP or upgrading your sound card and suddenly hearing a world of difference.
I miss the Golden age of computing.
>>61399954
I miss Expresscard in laptops, now we just have to put up with dongleitus.
Anyone have one of these? I fell for the meme. I wanna make shit tailored to my desires. What greater expression of freedom is there?

How difficult would it be for a normie to:

What makes a modern CPU running at the same core speed faster than an OC older CPU like this one?
Secondary: What's the best budget upgrade option for an i7 930, I've seen videos of people using cheap thrown away server CPUs but I'm not sure that's for me
If there's not a decent upgrade for cheap I'll probably just wait longer for price changes
>>61399631
>I'll probably just wait
If you don't have a reason to upgrade, you probably should just wait.
