What do you use to mass rename files on Michaelsoft Binbows 10 ?
See this is why I'm reluctant to use that piece of shit operating system. The only thing it excels at is performance. It's featureless, it needs a fuckload of third party software to do basic shit. This "task view" thing they couldn't advertise at all because honestly nobody cares about something that pretty much every other OS worth mentioning had. It's an OS for videogames, that's it.

Yeah but that doesn't answer my question.
I use betterfilerename, but occasionally ant renamer too because it's portable.

I use windows because I'm a massive cuck and too lazy to install loonix on stuff, but task view is garbage on windows because there's no keyboard shortcut to move windows to a new desktop.
It's like they slapped together a shit version of every other OS's multi desktop.
I'd use it if it wasn't trash. When I did have Ubuntu installed on my laptop, multiple desktops was useful for productivity, but windows just can't into it.
Actually Powershell
Emacs

I don't. Just use Linux.

Macfag detected.

It's wa-uh

No idea. On Linux nautilus (gnomes file manager) has batch renaming built in.

I get better performance out of Windows 10 than a clean installation Ubuntu/OpenSUSE
>>61406814
I highly doubt that.
>>61406870
Whether you doubt it or not doesn't change the outcome
I'm on openSUSE right now and scrolling on Chromium is slower than Chrome on Windows. And that's after enabling the Override software rendering list.
Also boot times are slower, specially in this. On Windows without fast startup enabled my system boots in about 15 seconds tops. This takes roughly 30.

>chromium
Found your problem. Either use Firefox or try the chrome rpm.
>>61407113
Firefox is much, much slower on my end. Heck the reason I use Chromium is because of that. I get a lot of tearing with it too.
Chrome gives me the same results as well.

I think ranger has windows support? I don't use wangblows though
