I still don't understand why /g/ hates SystemD so much.
>>61392926
Personally I don't like the verbosity of typing "systemctl" all the god damn time.
People have started to program dependently around it, which means trying to swap out parts of it or avoid it entirely breaks a lot of shit.
Because Gentoo (And now CloverOS I suppose) are hip memes. It doesn't matter if millions use systemd and have no issues with it. Lennart is a SJW so it is automatically worthless.
What DE does /g/ use? I personally love using I3.
Pic unrelated
I prefer kde
>>61392804
i3 is not a DE
i like xfce
Opinions on him?
Gets a bad rap but has a bit of an issue with celery.

He's a dick that'll go far in life pulling the wool over people's eyes. However, his face strikes the same emotion Martin Shkreli's does, that is, I want to punch him in the face for no reason other than the way his face looks

BAZANGO
So /g/ what hardware was better for it's time the SNES(left) or Genesis/Mega Drive(right)
>>61392629
iirc I liked the genesis for fast speed games, and blood in mortal kombat.
SNES had better audio, and video when it came out though.
SNES was overall better hardware while Genesis, aside from celery every so often, had it's areas that were better performing.
next question
I'm trying to compile the kernel for two days, how the fuck people still manage to do that?
Devices configuration is like a nightmare.

https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current-live/amd64/iso-hybrid/
You have to know tour hardware. Also you just do it once, then copy the configuration for kernel updates.
It's easy after the first time. Also just use the fucking kernel wiki to search for your hardware and check what drivers you need to enable. Also if it's not on the wiki it's on the docs that come with the kernel source, just learn to use grep to search through all the docs for your specific hardware.

Stop deluding yourselves, you stupid underage 2-digit IQ leftcuck ass-licking transfurry weebs. Net neutrality is a blatant leftcuck bait. It has never existed. I repeat: it has

existed. Every single major ISP has been violating it and getting away with it for at least a decade. Trust me. I have been using the Internet for longer than half of you have been alive (16 years). You don't have net neutrality. You will lose absolutely nothing getting it revoked by "evil capitalist Republican Drumpf." Now, man up and come back when you've grown out of crying like leftcucks whenever the government refuses to spoonfeed you.
Net neutrality doesn't exist. Period.

there's your problem

>ISP throttles connection depending on hours
Has nothing to do with net neutrality
>all major ISPs completely block port 25, and the only way to unlock it is to pay extra
You could argue that this violates net neutrality since they're treating email differently, but considering the problem of spam coming from botted computers and the fact that 99.999% of residential users don't need it, I'd say the weight is on blocking it.
>frequently get ass-low Torrent bitrates despite sharing with many peers
You shouldn't have believed /g/ that qBittorrent was any good.
>ISP recommended a software to block torrenting altogether at some point
I recommend you kill yourself. Neither has anything to do with net neutrality.
Fucking frogposters.

Instead of shitposting, here's a fucking novel idea. Let's discuss how to protect and prevent malware like LeakerLocker from anally raping our beloved Android platform.
Use F-Droid where possible and trustworthy developers' software when not.
