Looking around for a new diet and found the "steak and eggs diet". You eat steak and eggs, cooked in butter, for 5 days and on the 6th you eat whatever you want! Don't know if this is complete bullshit or not, but apparently it was created by Vince Gironda whose name holds a bit of weight in my opinion. Has anyone tried it? What are your thoughts?

I started to jog to lose weight (5'9 290 pounds) a month ago and, thanks to some godforsaken curse, I have tendinitis on both feet now. I'm already doing physiotherapy to recover, but I can't stress my feet at all, so no jogging or even walking long distances
What kind of exercises that don't strain my legs could I do at home to help me burn some calories during the 1~2 months I'll have to rest? I'm already doing situps and beginner pushups (on my knees instead of the tip of my feet)

Another thing is pain. When you fall down and scrape your knee, a tiny portion of you dies (some skin cells), and it hurts. When someone stabs you with a knife, more of you dies, and it hurts more. Same with some illnesses, touching a hot stove etc. From this, or maybe instinct, our primitive ape brains extrapolate that completely dying must hurt really fucking bad. That's why we avoid death
