Can someone give me advice on how to gain healthy fat? My boyfriend is being a little bitch because I have more muscle definition than him and I think it makes him self conscious. He's been trying to convince me to get fat. How do I go from 15-17% body fat to around 25% without causing health problems?

Any of you brahs have acid reflux?

I have to workout on an empty stomach or I'll have acid coming up during my workout (especially when I bend over for something like rows or DLs).

How do you deal with it?

I have it kinda on and off. my dad has a problem so maybe it's genetic

Stopping soda, fried food, and spicy stuff can really bring it down obviously. I used to take 1 pill of ranitidine a day to keep it down. I stopped doing that and just try to control my diet better. Always having plenty of water works too.

The time when you eat matters too. I cannot workout immediately after eating, I need about an hour. Working out on an empty stomach can cause me acid problems sometimes, but usually just makes me feel sick

Hey /fit/. I've been lurking and I decided I want to start working out and improving my life. But the problem is I'm scared.
I'm scared of the fuck boys and materialistic faggots who go to the gym. I'm scared they'll criticize me and make fun of me for trying out something new.
Idk how to operate most of the machines correctly.

Let me be blatantly honest with you. Giving a fuck is the stupidest thing you could do when concerning other people's opinions of you, when and if those criticisms provide absolutely NO explanation or advice.

Simply put, don't be a little bitch. People will talk trash about you, or to you. Deal with it. Look at them, and ask yourself "Do these cunts really matter to me?". They're not your family, not your friends, and surely not anyone you want to be like, so why give anything they say any thought?

Also, for machines, there are staff you can ask and depending how good the gym, signs, on how to use the equipment. Google is another great solution like >>42737787 suggested.

Past that man, don't let others stop you from being the better person you want to be. Don't let them stop you in progressing towards the future you want. Because at the end of the day, if you take the shit they say to heart, if you let it stop you from going to the gym, you're only disappointing and betraying yourself.

As a beginner, is 10 minutes of HIIT with a 5-minute warmup and cooldown enough? Or, should I do 20 minutes with warmup and cooldown?

Thread on which preworkouts you use and what flavors as well as how strong the effects are. Id also like to know if any preworkouts will negatively affect my digestive tract and make me shit blood or something. Ive been lifting for almost two years now and I havent needed preworkout since Im 19 and I have pretty much all the energy I need. However recently Ive realised that my workouts have been lacking because I just feel like im tired or my efforts are better spent outside of the gym. For this reason I was thinking about picking up some pic related to try. Anyone have any experience?

Aye, that's correct. I'm still planning everything. No money for citrate tho, gotta drink some lemon juice everyday instead, but not sure if it's gonna work. Family has no story of kidney stone, but still don't want to risk it.
