Is any of this even worth it?
I wake up at 5:30 every morning except Tuesdays to work out, because that's the only way I can fit it into my schedule, and I work out six days a week. That's not something I have trouble with, but on top of all that, I have massive amounts of schoolwork, and I'm busting my ass writing for our school paper.
I'm barely keeping my head above water. Despite my hard work, my grades are still average (I go to a tough school), writing for the paper isn't paying off worth anything, and I'm incredibly unsatisfied in terms of social life.
Is any of this hard work even worth it? It feels like no matter how hard I go in the gym, no matter how many of my readings I have to do while I eat, no matter how diligent I am with reporting on the bullshit I'm assigned to for the paper, none of it even matters.

So Frank Zane was known as 'The Chemist' for his use of supplements and had arguably the most aesthetic physique of any bodybuilder. Excluding roids, what did he take?

He was known as the chemist because he was a literal chemistry teacher, you fucking retard.
dat dere celltech
He was a big proponent of zinc. Not sure what else though.
Didn't see a running general so here goes.
I'm a complete beginner again after years of being too damn lazy to run. The last time I ran with any sort of frequency was about ten years ago, when the basic approach towards training was "just keep running the distance you're training for several times a week, and mix it up a little with longer runs once or twice a week."
I started in the beginning of April, keeping to a pace of around 5:50 - 6:30 per kilometer, increasing the distance from a crappy 1 km to start with, and now I'm up to a slightly less crappy 2 km.
This works out to about 36 - 40 minutes of cardio a week, and what I've been reading suggests that 90 mins of cardio a week is some kind of suggested minimum for cardio-related health benefits. Should I switch to a run-walk-run type of approach, and if so, based on the pace/distances I'm doing right now, what sort of ratio of running to walking would be appropriate?

>running
It's like you don't even whant to make it...
Srs all the runner fags I know are skinny fat, weak and duchy. The have that crossfitter vibe
>>41139375
Moron. Don't listen to this idiot. Running is amazing to compliment a decent gym routine. Keeps the fat off and does wonders for the metabolism along with a slew of other heart and non heart related benefits. I started off doing 5k runs with 1k of up hill sprints. Now that i'm at the gym 5 days I dedicate one day to a medium run of 15k which i actually look forward to. Start low and aim for 500m - 1k extra per week until you reach 5k or so and then try adding sprints. Good luck anon

The fat and protein keeps you fuller for longer thing is bullshit. Who honestly thinks this is true?
Not thinking about food keeps me fuller longer.
I honestly don't feel any difference in satiation from carbs/fats/protein.
Oddly enough I find it easier to get leaner when I don't track calories/macros because I stop thinking about food, but when I think about food (how many calories I have left) I end up always over-eating because my minds on food all day. But when I don't track I never think about food and never over-eat.
It's just propaganda from the meat and dairy industries. American fatties swallow that shit wholesale of course, because they like eating fatty garbage. The experimental evidence consistently shows that fat is the least satiating macronutrient, with saturated fat being particularly non-satiating. Protein being most satiating is pretty accepted, though there are some studies that also suggest otherwise as well. Obesity doesn't really exist in societies with high carb intake, so epidemiologically there is good reason to believe that carbs are plenty satiating for the average person.

Like, in a gym, every female and male interaction (and even some same sex interactions) have this thinly veiled "lets fuck". Like if the entire gym was just some steps away from turning into a massive orgy. Anyone else feels like this?
I mean i never got turned on during gym time but still always felt that vibe.

Greeks didn't know about steroids. Therefore, if they knew bodies could look like this is because someone, somewhere, sometime had a body like this. The logic conclusion is that the greek body is achievable while natty.

only virgins give a shit about their virginity. sex is a fun activity, but it doesn't improve your life at all.. and if you think you were depressed/insecure before just wait until you get into an actual relationship. all your insecurities will be multiplied tenfold.
