Am I just a bitch afraid of the treadmill. or is this shit actually better?

I live in one of the nicest areas of countryside in the UK, and do not understand why people in my local gym do cardio when you could just go for a fucking run or buy a bike.

I mean, in a rough city it might make sense, but if you literally need to zone out to Eastenders on the big TVs they always have in cardio areas then your motivation is probably fucked anyway.

I know this isn't what you asked, but needed to vent.

As for ellipitical vs. treadmill. I would bet any difference is negligible. Probably mostly personal preference.

>go to the gym to do cardio
Because you can stop whenever you want and not be miles away from your home or car when you realize you don't want to keep going.

that's a good thing.
but that's also what walking trails are for.
Unrelated but this is a reason why I believe all movie theaters ought to be torn down for public, outdoor fitness areas.

What kind of steroid schedule would I need to do in addition to the relevant program in order to reach this orc's level of jy00-c? I found this comic and could barely appreciate the generic anime bitch because I was mirin the orc the whole time.

Recovering fatass here. Can I get some thoughts and critique on my diet and routine? Think I've got a solid foundation going but I wanna lift better.

27 years old, 6'2", 228 lbs

Diet:
1700 cal/day (500 cal TDEE deficit)
Goal macros: %50 protons, %30 fat, %20 carbs.

Lifting Routine:
A
Shoulder Press 3x5
Bench Press 3x5
Incline Flys 3x5
Incline Bench 3x5
Light Squat 1x20
Lateral Raise 3x8
20 min. mild cardio

B
Deadlift 1x5
Heavy Squat 3x5
Decline Crunch w/ plate 3x10
Leg Press 3x5
Curls 3x8
Pull-ups 3x5
20 min. mild cardio

ABxABxx or AxBxAxB depending on my schedule, just kinda work out whenever, but as often as I can with proper rest periods. And I stick to the above diet religiously. But is there any way to improve my routine for fat burn or am I doing okay?

any of you make your own powder? I am considering following these general methods but am not sure if there is a better way to do this.

How is this in any way faster/better/more economical than simply purchasing the requisite amount of meat cooking it and eating it?

Obviously we are not talking about meat here, though meat can be a cheaper option.
That being said, for a DIY protein powder all you would need is a gallon of milk and some other tools and you could make your own protein powder.
All I am asking is if someone else has tried this and if they have any suggestions, tips, or testimony about their experiences.

I'm just glad this isn't a fucking The Golden Fag thread again

/fit/, are sled pulls safe? I broke 300lbs and am on my way to 400. I just want to be sure I'm not fucking my shit up before I hit the heavy weights. It doesn't feel particularly damaging and it looks safe enough, but I don't know, is there maybe a nerve that could be pinched or a special way to move the shoulder?

some lat pull downs that are just under your weight. so if your weight was 150 i would say do 110 lat pulls and go for higher reps, 8-12. also keep just doing pull ups consistently and you will see improvements. Don't settle for a certain amount always push for more.
>>
lats, biceps, brachioradialis

pullup negatives, assissted pullups (machine, band, chair, ect.), inverted rows, lat pulldown, chinups
>>
>>41753959
Start with chinups. If you can't do those either, do negatives. Start with the end position and lower yourself down slowly. Scooby has a great video on how to achieve your first Pullup.

I mean on the long term, what's the best routine?
Let's say I want to imporve my 10K time (I do it in 50 mins atm) and my potential half-marathon time.
Also I still want to have weightlifting in my schedule

/fit/ seems to be big on NoFap. So tell me, except for more free time what benefits do I get for not beating off?

-more time
-your room dont smell weird

its all about it
>>
>>41753669
>Increase in testosterone (at least initially)
>Slight increase in attracting females (not huge increase but there is a slight noticeable increase in the amount females pay attention to you which again could just be the extra T)
>Autism levels drops
>Horniess increases which can be a motivator to approach women and actually try to get laid as opposed to just beating off into a sock because it's easier
>Energy levels rise

That's really about it. You might notice different benefits especially in regards to your mental or emotional health but those vary wildly from individuals and depends a lot on how much you beat off. So a NEET who jacks it for 8 hours a day might notice a decrease in depression. It might not be the porn or masturbating that caused the depression in the first place but the fact that he was in front of the computer for 8hrs and not outside. Really just try it. I went a month and noticed some positive changes in my life. Nothing huge but enough to get em to seriously cut down on the amount of beating off I do.
