any of you make your own powder? I am considering following these general methods but am not sure if there is a better way to do this.

How is this in any way faster/better/more economical than simply purchasing the requisite amount of meat cooking it and eating it?

I go outside with a net and catch grasshoppers
After drowning them I leave them in the sun to dry before blending and further sun-drying

Obviously we are not talking about meat here, though meat can be a cheaper option.
That being said, for a DIY protein powder all you would need is a gallon of milk and some other tools and you could make your own protein powder.
All I am asking is if someone else has tried this and if they have any suggestions, tips, or testimony about their experiences.

Assuming you did have "some tools" (a separator and a square mile of sheets to dry whey on), a gallon of milk contains roughly 130g of protein. Even if you'd manage to isolate 100g (very high end estimate), that's the volume of protein in 500g of average lean meat, which 2-5x cheaper than a gallon of milk, not counting hours of labor required to achieve your autistic goal.

Use your fucking head.
