Am I just a bitch afraid of the treadmill. or is this shit actually better?
I live in one of the nicest areas of countryside in the UK, and do not understand why people in my local gym do cardio when you could just go for a fucking run or buy a bike.
I mean, in a rough city it might make sense, but if you literally need to zone out to Eastenders on the big TVs they always have in cardio areas then your motivation is probably fucked anyway.
I know this isn't what you asked, but needed to vent.
As for ellipitical vs. treadmill. I would bet any difference is negligible. Probably mostly personal preference.

>go to the gym to do cardio
Because you can stop whenever you want and not be miles away from your home or car when you realize you don't want to keep going.

that's a good thing.
but that's also what walking trails are for.
Unrelated but this is a reason why I believe all movie theaters ought to be torn down for public, outdoor fitness areas.

Great idea sadly the Jews don't want that

Then go to a fucking public park. Most of them have 1-2 mile jogging tracks.
