Let's discuss how to live a minimalist ascetic lifestyle. Personally, since lifting I've grown out of TV and vidya. I feel like I get more genuine enjoyment out of each day.

Clean your room/apartment/house whatever once every couple months and get rid of shit you know you won't ever use/wear again. Just got rid of some shitty chair and donated some old clothes. Just having my rooms semi-empty feels so good. Easier to clean too.

Watch that documentary on Netflix called Minimalism. Those guys take it too far, but I agree you should cut out as much waste in your life as possible.

Hey /fit/

Going to a kegger pool party tomorrow and I was wondering how I can help offset the copious amounts of empty calories I'll be drinking in beer. Don't drink much on my cut specifically to avoid the extra calories but I'm making an exception in the name of fun.

Hard cardio beforehand? Fasting day of? Just push harder the next day at the gym?

Im finally doing it.
Im on week 5 of a plant based diet. Im not giving up meat for the "humane" reasons, though thats an issue in and of itself.

I lost my pops last year from kidney failure and diabetes, and am on the verge of losing my mother. I have a genetic predisposition to cancer and all sorts of shit, and the more i dive into nutrition, the more i cant ignore the facts that meat is probably not that good for you.

How have you vegan/vege /fit/izens transitioned into this lifestyle while still keeping up performance in sports and in the gym?

Me and about ten friends have started cooking vegetarian/vegan food.
The biggest reason for most of us is probably that it contains less calories and leads to a healthier lifestyle.

And somewhere in the back of my head at least, I know it's good for our planet and for the animals.

My favorite protein rich food right now is chick-peas.

Is Bench Press really the best lift for chest? Are there other superior chest building lifts such as incline bench, and dumbell press/flies?

Dumbbell bench presses have the advantage of requiring stabilisation of more mobile weights, as well as having a greater potential ROM.

I wouldn't go the Metamucil option because it's only adding more bulk to something- it's only useful if you haven't eaten enough and need to produce more crap.

Wouldn't get too concerned unless you're in pain, if so grab a laxative from the pharmacy.

I lost a bunch of weight as a teenager, and since then I've had really pronounced bones sticking out that you can see in my pic. I have gained weight since and lost it again since, and those bones still jut out.

What lift do I do to fill that gap or put some muscular padding over that area of my shoulders?

That's the spine of your scapula. Some people have more protruding bony parts then other people, this is normal and nothing to worry about. If you want more beef around it, work on your upper and middle traps, and your external rotators.

What is?
This "rash" has been slowly creeping up my legs for a few months. It does not itch. It does not hurt. I have zero other symptoms, not sick, not tired, healthy appetite, etc. I do not have bed bugs or any other critters. I don't think it is an allergic reaction since it is centralized on my feet and shins.

I have been putting psoriasis creams on it but have had no results.
