How rapidly should a noob be making gains, /fit/? I've been lifting for two months now, watching macros, getting sleep, etc.
Stiff legged deadlift: 8 reps, 4 sets, 65lbs
The Press: 5 reps, 4 sets, 55lbs
Barbell Row: 8 reps, 4 sets, 65lbs
Curl: 9 reps, 4 sets, 50lbs
Bench: 8 reps, 4 sets, 65lbs

You should be able to add 5 lbs once to twice a week depending on the lift while you're still a novice.

Why is it that when my abs are flexed, they are fine, as in visible and i can pinch the fat meaning that is def not an issue with body fat, but when not flexed, my stomach is ike pot belly tier potruding? I'm not even that big and I don't use HGH. This started becoming an issue when I started my bulk, and I naturally assumed it was because my stomach was expanding because it would and still does bloat a ton after I eat, but the stomach is actually pretty small, and not big enough to cause this. After I have a big meal or shakes I literally look like I have HGH gut.

Body fat in men collects under the muscles so yes it is an issue with body fat
The inverse abdominus is the inside of your abs that keeps your stomach pulled in. They're probably underdeveloped. Do stomach vaccuums and maybe planks too.

I've run across a serious problem.
I'm just starting out on my journey for fitness after reading the sticky. Unfortunately, the area I live in doesn't really have good gyms.
There's the local YMCA which is usually packed to the brim and is mostly ellipticals and treadmills.
The other is an Anytime Fitness which has a little more free weights than the YMCA but unfortunately has a staunch "no sound" rule where if you even breath hard you're thrown out with your membership revoked.
In this situation what should I do? Buy my own equipment? Focus on calisthenics first? I'm at a loss, guys.

Do what YOU want. but regardless you need to CLEAN bulk. Eat at LEAST 100g protein a day, and about 500 calories over your maintenance.

I've honestly just completely switched to diet. The sugar in regular is just too much for me now, and if I'm gonna cut loose and indulge I'd rather have something more tasteful and worthwhile than an empty soda.
